(More customer reviews)After 4 months, my AT&T Motorola EM330 became stiff in the clamshell hinge. About 3 weeks later the hinge cracked upon opening and the upper part of the flip phone separated from the body at an angle on one side. I called in. During over one hour on the phone, AT&T customer service and warranty people maintained consistently that if the hinge cracked, I must have damaged it. I pointed out the phone showed no sign of external injury like dents or scratches and I never dropped it, although I do keep it in my front pants pocket and press the phone against my face while talking which stresses the hinge. Finally I convinced them that I had not abused the phone and they said they would replace it. But there was one more step in the process. The warranty service people had me remove the battery and look at the moisture indicator. It was pink indicating water exposure. I told them the phone had never been in the drink. They told me this could have occurred after being caught in the rain or answering the phone after stepping out of the shower. But regardless, the pink indicator voided the warranty and suddenly they would not replace the phone. They kindly offered to allow me to purchase a new phone at the regular price. How convenient!!! A little moisture indicator allows AT&T to avoid the responsibility of having sold a cheap, poorly made phone. The EM330 is not a clamshell phone. It's an eggshell phone. Based on other reports, BEWARE of AT&T and BEWARE the Motorola EM330.

(More customer reviews)If you're looking for the world's best phone you're expecting way to much; if you want a simple, affordable cheapy that makes/receives calls and messages and little more then this is the phone for you. Bought it to replace my smashed 2600, the buttons work much better, menus are just a tad faster, definitely boots faster, camera is slower to come up, back cover is much flimsier, software has some handy added features I wanted to see in the old one (copy/move text messages, create folders, etc.). It does exactly what I need it to do, which isn't much. Will it stand up to abuse? Doubt it will a whole lot but I'm pretty easy on it. Holds four bars at all times (AT&T), swapped in SIM card and it came right up fine, hasn't dropped a call, sends/receives multimedia messages better than the 2600. No complaints. It's been a good little cheapy so far.

(More customer reviews)The W350 is very stylish. I can finally have a phone that is truly small enough to put in the pocket of my jeans. The very first thing I worry is scratching the screen like my iPod Nano. Surprisingly, the screen is scratch free after months of putting and pulling out of my jeans. The phone is small and light in weight but felt very solid.
This phone is not easy to use. The number keys are really big and easy to press. However, they have to make the navigation keys very small to make the number keys big. The navigation keys are too small to use. I need to hold the phone with my left hand and use my finger nail of my right hand to press the navigation keys. Plus I cannot flip the phone open with one hand. It cannot be used with just one hand like the other candy bar phones. The W350 is really a flip phone; not a candy bar phone.
Sound quality is as good as any other Sony Ericsson. The speakerphone is loud. The screen is very clear to see even under direct sunlight. The ringer is really loud. That is good.
Compared to my W810i, the W350 really lacks of many useful functions.
The W350 does not have Voice Command. This is very bad without VC because the W350 is too small to use while driving.
The W350 has a really lousy camera. No video. No flashlight. I love the flashlight from my W810.
This is really a flip phone. There is no Voice Command. So, I cannot use the bluetooth to dial anything. I have to flip it open (with two hands. I can't flip it open with one hand) and punch the numbers before I can make any call. The worst part is that after I dial the number, I cannot close the flap right away. If I close the flap before it is ringing, the phone will hang up the call. This is not safe to use the W350 while driving.
The Walkman Player is not easy to use. I can move from menu 1 to menu 2 and menu 3 up to the playlist to play the song. Once I get to the playlist, I cannot go back to menu 3 or menu 2 or menu 1. There is no back function. I can use the forward function to go back to menu 1. But once I am in menu 1, I cannot go back to the current playlist anymore. I have to wait for the phone to go to standby. When I press a key to wake up the phone, it then will come back to the current playlist. Another thing is that I cannot select an entire album to put in the playlist. I have to select song by song. It is just so confusing to use. So, keep your iPod.
The W350 doesn't come with any accessory either. No memory card, no headphone. no car charger. no CD. no nothing. My W810i comes with all of these except the memory card.
To sum it up, the W350 is a just a ok phone.

Kyocera Marbl Prepaid Phone (Virgin Mobile) Review

(More customer reviews)I tried to upgrade my teen's ancient kyocera (so old you have to extend the external antenna!) to the Marbl. My teen rarely uses his phone, but it gets the job done and "never" needs charging. I charged the new Marbl and left it unused and closed overnight and in the morning the battery was low and the phone could not be used. I thought about exchanging the phone until I saw all the CNET reviews complaining about lousy battery life. I returned the Marbl and will wait till something better comes along.

I could find the best deal online @ $25-30 but was not willing to pay that much amount, almost the half of the price of the phone. I looked up Amazon and didn't believe that it is offering the same product for just $3. I immediately checked out. Oh well, it also comes with a purple colored back door bu Im not using it though.
My phone runs great, the battery is backing it up very well. I highly recommend this product, however I am not to be blamed if your phone itself have technical glitches. I rate this product 5/5.
