Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Unlocked GSM Smartphone with 8 MP Camera, Android OS, Touch Screen, Wi-Fi and gps navigation--International Version with No Warranty (Black) Review

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Unlocked GSM Smartphone with 8 MP Camera, Android OS, Touch Screen, Wi-Fi and gps navigation--International Version with No Warranty (Black)

(More customer reviews)
1. The real phone model is x10i (which I guess "i" stand for "international" version)
2. After received, I install Sony Erricson PC Companion Software which will allow me to upgrade to Android 2.1 update 1
3. Phone look nice, compact (compare to other phone same class); however the back cover made of plastic, which makes it look cheap!!!.
4. Screen protector also included (even x10i screen is anti-scratch)
5. Phone works as I expected, pretty big screen, vivid color. 8.1M camera with smile detection, and other features seem nice to have.
6. Take me a while to familiar with phone behavior, but once I get used to it, I like it.
7. Virtual keyboard is nice in landscape mode, but difficult to use in portrait mode.
8. If turn on WiFi, battery will be drained for a day, (but the same for Droid 2, Droid X). Turn off Wifi, it may last for 2 days. Set screen brightness to lowest level may extent more, and you can adjust its brightness by using widgets short cut.
9. So far, I will happy with this phone!
10. Without warranty, it might be potential problem!!!
Update on 06/16/11:
- Phone is still working :).
- Another firmware update couple months ago which allow to do "multitouch" feature on X10i now. I think it is a big reason many guys don't want to buy X10 before.
- Camera doesn't have flash (but a small LED), that will make you disappointed in dark place.

Samsung SCH-U620 - Cellular phone - CDMA2000 1X - slider - black - Verizon Review

I just got this phone from Verizon on Friday (three days ago) and I am thrilled. I was upgrading from an LG6100 flip and things have sure changed in the last 2 years! I was torn between the u620 and the u740 (the phone that flips open two ways with a qwerty keyboard), but in the end I preferred the style of the slider better and found the keys much easier to use. I read every review I could find online and I found that overall people love this phone.
I don't have any plans for using the TV or music functions (I use an iPod) so I won't comment on those features at all.
Favorite Features:
*Size- Not so tiny that you can't hold it comfortably, but not big at all. Very easy to hold and type on.
*Slider- Can easily be opened with one hand. Very slick looking.
*Voice quality- Crystal clear and can be set very loud, if you like. I'm one of those people that could never hear my phonecalls, but on this phone I keep the volume set in the middle and never miss a word.
*Camera- 1.3 megapixels camera takes nice sharp photos. Has a flash too.
*Voice-to-text- Fun feature in which you can speak your text messages!
*Battery life - Very good. It's 72 hours after I first charged my phone and I'm only down one bar even though I've been playing with it a ton.
*Picture caller-id.
*Clear, sharp display.
*Solid feel. Not flimsy at all.
Overall, I am very happy with this phone. I wish it came in colors like the Verizon LG Chocolate, but instead I will settle for a cute strap (Yea! It has a strap hole!).

When used in combination with the u620's built-in camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging fun. There's also a built-in Web browser for downloads and mobile Web browsing. Verizon's optional Mobile Web 2.0 package allows you to read and send emails, exchange instant messages, and view your favorite Web content. You can check your email, trade stocks online, compare prices while shopping, access flight information, get movie listings, and find directions to the theater. You can define a zone or a specific area, such as a school or summer camp, and when your family member enters or leaves the zone with their handset, Verizon will automatically send an alert to your phone with the time and location of your family member's handset (additional charges may apply).
Imaging and Entertainment The phone's 1.3-megapixel camera features a flash, zoom options, and a host of automatic and manual camera functions that you'd expect from an advanced digital camera, such as a self-timer, multi-shot functions, white balance controls, and more. Samsung Sway Phone, Silver (Verizon Wireless) Review

Samsung Sway Phone, Silver (Verizon Wireless)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I recently returned the LG enV2 for the Samsung Sway. The Verizon employee talked me into the LG and I went along since I always loved LGs. However, the enV2 wasn't for me becasue it was too heavy and felt uncomfortable talking on it. I really needed the best PHONE out there, not necessarily the best text messaging device. Therefore, I went with the Sway. In short, it is the best (by far) phone out there if you do not plan to text heavily or use tons of data service features. It is light, super sleek and crystal clear. Build quality is supurb (looks and feel like all metal even though the back is plastic) and speaker phone is loud and easy to use. Screen is the nicest I have seen--bright and crisp. Camera is sufficient at 2MP. User interface and operation is simple and great to navigate. While keypad looks a bit cramped at first, it is not in actuality--in use it works great.

Samsung Juke Phone, Blue (Verizon Wireless) Review

Samsung Juke Phone, Blue (Verizon Wireless)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is my first "fancy phone" that is able to do things other than just make phone calls. I was originally skeptical, but for the most part I am impressed by the Juke.
Music capabilities:
People complain about the inability to use V-Cast on the phone, but that doesn't bother me at all. I am just thrilled that I can plug it into my computer and transfer mp3s to it (using included equipment) like I would for any mp3 player. The 2GB capacity (something like 1.7 or 1.8 GB real volume) is not huge, but certainly sufficient for something that's a phone. And while you're transferring new music to it, it's also recharging. The interface is adequate, and the included headphones are nice.
My biggest complaint in music is that it cannot handle ogg-vorbis audio (.ogg), especially since Verizon salespeople told me it probably could. Since Motorola makes mp3 players that play .ogg files, I hope that there will be a firmware upgrade coming soon.
Also, what would be awesome would be the ability to just set one of your mp3s on the phone as a ring-tone, but I kinda doubt that's happening any time soon.
Camera:
Okay. The picture quality is all right, but the display screen is a little small. The biggest problem is the "take photo" button is placed so that the easiest way to hold the phone and press it is while covering the camera aperture.
Overall use:
Exterior screen lets you see txts and caller ID before opening the phone. Opening the phone is slightly unwieldy tho. It'd be nice if it swiveled in both directions. A recommendation I would make for them would be to be able to press a button to turn on the clock while the phone is closed. But for the most part, slim, and snazzy.
And as advice to Amazon, I think it makes sense to have the reviews for all of the colors show up together when someone visits any of the phones. I would think that someone who is considering buying a teal phone would like to know what someone who owns a blue phone thinks.

At first glance, the Samsung Juke looks like a typical stick-style MP3 player, which it is. But swing open the swiveling cover and you'll find a shiny keypad underneath that unlocks the advanced cellular features of this amazingly compact phone. It's a great way to combine two devices into one, with the Juke offering 2 GB of internal memory and compatibility with a wide variety of digital audio formats. It also features USB connectivity for transferring music from your PC, stereo Bluetooth for streaming to wireless headphones, integrated GPS, a VGA camera, and downloadable games, ringtones, and wallpapers from Verizon's Get It Now over-air service. In addition to blue, the Samsung Juke also comes in red and teal.
Verizon Service This phone is compatible with Verizon's Get It Now wireless pay-per-download service, which features application downloads, games and productivity tools. You can also personalize your handset with ringtone downloads using the Get It Now service.
With this GPS-enabled phone, you'll be able to access Verizon's VZ Navigator service (additional charges applicable) for voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions, heads-up alerts, local search of nearly 14 million points of interest in the US (such as landmarks, restaurants and ATMs), and detailed color maps. And Verizon's Chaperone service lets you easily locate your loved ones from your Verizon Wireless phone or PC in real time. After defining a zone, such as an area designating a school or summer camp, you'll be sent an alert via text message when the Chaperone handset enters or leaves the zone.
Note that this phone is not compatible with either Verizon's V Cast music or Mobile Web services
Phone Features The Samsung Juke functions flawlessly as a full-featured digital audio player. A navigation thumb wheel on the front allows for easy searching through music play lists, contacts and settings. The 1.45-inch TFT LCD has a 128 x 220-pixel resolution, support for 262K colors, and displays 10 lines of text. The 2 GB flash memory capacity will hold approximately 500 CD-quality songs, and it's compatible with MP3, AAC/AAC+, and WMA/WMA Pro file formats. You can create and manage playlists on the fly, synchronize music from your PC to the phone, and multi-task using other functions on the phone while listening to your tunes. You can listen to music via the on-board speaker or the included color-matched stereo headset. Other features include a choice of music skins (visualizer or album artwork) and preset equalizer and 3D sound settings.
This phone also provides Bluetooth version 2.0 wireless connectivity with the A2DP Bluetooth profile, which enables you to stream music to compatible Bluetooth stereo headphones or speakers. It also includes profiles for communication headset, handsfree car kits, audio/video remote control, and serial port/object push for vCard.
A little flick of the thumb and the display spins up to reveal all the keys you need to dial, text, take pictures or almost anything else you want to do. Support is built in for text messaging and mobile IM. When used in combination with the phone's built-in still and video camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging fun. T9 text entry, which is a technology that makes it easier for entering text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.
You can also snap photos on the go with the integrated VGA camera, which can capture images in three resolutions (640 x 480, 320 x 240, and 160 x 120 pixels) with variable quality settings. It features a night shot mode for less-than-ideal lighting conditions, a self timer, brightness and white balance controls, multi-shot capability, and choices for shutter sounds (including silent mode). This phone does not offer video capture capabilities.
The Juke's internal phone book can hold up to 500 contact entries with five phone numbers and two emails per entry (as well as notes). You can also pair contact up with a group, a picture for caller ID, or one of 11 polyphonic ringtones.Other features include:
Voice Commands: Voice dial, digit dial readout, call announcement
Personal Organizer: Calendar with scheduler, note pad
Tools: Calculator with converter, alarm clock, stopwatch, world clock
Speed dialing
Speakerphone

Motorola W490 Phone (T-Mobile, Phone Only, No Service) Review

Motorola W490 Phone (T-Mobile, Phone Only, No Service)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have always been a fan of motorola phones. I have had Samsung, Nokia, etc. etc. and have always found that something would break after a drop or two.
I always liked the looks of the Razr but found it to be to wide... then the krzr, but found it to be to small. Then came the 490. It carries the same style and design of the razr and krzr but is a in between the two in size.
I wont bore you with the specs of the phone... although I have seen it listed as not having voice dialing when it in fact does.
I have dropped it, kicked it, gotten it wet, you name it and it still works perfectly fine. My only complaint is that the back panel that covers the battery feels flimsy. It is more solid than other phones I have but given how thin it is it feels flimsy. It has popped off a couple of times on some of the harder falls the phone has had but for the most part it is a small complaint.
I love the phone and if the last 6 months are any indication I will have the phone for another year and half.
Side note... in my experiences and those of people I have talked to there is not a single phone provider around that offers free phones that are worth their weight. Every free phone I have seen falls apart or breaks inside of 6-8 months (long enough for them to wash their hands of it.) If you are looking for a phone of quality it will cost $50-100 to do it.

First off I did not buy this product at [...]I bought it from the [...]. I think this phone is a really, really nice verison of the razr, being that I've had 2 other razrs (v3 and v3i). This one feels a lot more sturdy in your hand, and it doesnt feel cheap as the v3 did, while maintaining its sleek, slim look, unlike the v3x which is a lot thicker. Furthermore, the camera on this razr is far superior to the previous versions, excluding the v3x(2 megapixels). It has a 1.3 megapixel camera, but I don't really use it for the camera, its only good for those surprise moments :P. Also I've noticed that the audio quality is a lot better than the other razrs, the songs/ringtones sound a lot more crisp and rich. Also the phonebook feature is fixed, I used to hate to have to wait like 30 seconds just to get to what contact I wanted (v3), Also new to this razr, is the voice command system, you can instantly look up numbers via voice command. You can also check battery levels, and signal strength. And the pause between letters in a text message is reduced, so no more waiting 2 seconds to type "no" :). Battery life is very much improved from the other razr models probably because this is a CDMA phone instead of the normal GSM razrs. A con however is the fact that if it gets scratched you will be able to easily tell it did, but I believe they offer this phone in silver if this is an issue. If you want to get really fancy you could get a custom case designed and handmade for your phone at [..].IF YOU BOUGHT THE VERIZON MUSIC ESSENTIALS KIT, OR THE VERIZON MOBILE OFFICE KIT, THE NEXT PARAGRAPH IS POINTLESS FOR YOU TO READ. For the rest of us who don't see giving Verizon more money on top of the phone price and service charge, read on.As for the hacking part as one person said previously, you can use bitpim to hack this phone. If you want to put music onto it without wasting more money on that Verizon software that allows you to do so, simply find p2k phone manager, MAKE SURE IT IS THE VERSION THAT WORKS WITH CDMA PHONES OR ELSE IT WILL NOT WORK. There are some tutorials that I found useful to help you through this, and when you're done hacking and stuff, you can have a lot of bonus features that Verizon disabled, such as music/ringtone transfer with MPT(Motorola Mobile Phone Tools), wireless bluetooth transfer, disabling the ringtones that come with it, changing the outer LCD screen. If you choose to do any of these, it will void your warranty, it is not illegal however. If mobile phone tools doesn't detect this phone, you may have the same problem I did, I was running an older version of the software. Also to enable music and ringtone transfer you have to use seem edits, which can be done with p2k phone manager. See, Verizon disabled the feature by making MPT think that the phone was a v3m when in fact the software has the device drivers listed as v3mm, also if those steps dont work after reading some tutorials, you may want to select v3c as your phone model. Another thing, the cable that comes with it that you're supposed to plug you headphones into, is FOR SMALL HEADPHONES, meaning its a 2.5mm jack instead of a 3.5, so YOU NEED SPECIAL HEADPHONES TO USE THAT FEATURE. But me being me, found a way around this. I used a knife to pry off the top part with the M logo on it and got to the insides. theres a circuit board and some wires connected to the jack. I used another phone jack from one of my broken CD players I had lying around. They're exactly the same connections and size (the smaller jack and the bigger one) so I put the bigger one on top of the smaller jack and soldered it to the bottom part, if you know what you're doing this shouldn't take more than half an hour. After I was finished I used an xacto blade to carefully cut the shape of the new phone jack out(because with two of them the cover wouldn't fit, and I wanted the bigger and the smaller jack). Then I had to also cut around the little part that holds the smaller hole at the bottom as to make it fit. After this was done I used some electrical tape(mostly because I wanted the adapter to stay black not gray with duck tape) and proceeded to wrap around it. Hopefully if you want to save like 50 bucks from buying the Verizon software you will try this, but then you need to buy the memory card and that will set you back like the same price haha, but you'll have like 512 mb instead of the 128 mb that comes in the Verizon package. Best of luck to all of you, and thank you for taking the time to read this.
I hope this information has helped you, and if it did I would appreciate you rating this as helpful.

OEM NOKIA BATTERY & PURPLE BACK DOOR 5300 BL-5B Nokia 5300 Review

OEM NOKIA BATTERY and PURPLE BACK DOOR 5300 BL-5B Nokia 5300
Average Reviews:

I was desperately looking for a battery for my 2 years old Nokia 5300 Xpress Music. I could find the best deal online @ $25-30 but was not willing to pay that much amount, almost the half of the price of the phone. I looked up Amazon and didn't believe that it is offering the same product for just $3. I immediately checked out. Oh well, it also comes with a purple colored back door bu Im not using it though.
My phone runs great, the battery is backing it up very well. I highly recommend this product, however I am not to be blamed if your phone itself have technical glitches. I rate this product 5/5.

Samsung SGH T539 Beat - Cellular phone - GSM - folder (flip) - T-Mobile Review

Samsung SGH T539 Beat - Cellular phone - GSM - folder (flip) - T-Mobile
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This phone had barely just come out when my current phone started to fail. I went to T-Mobile for a replacement only to be disappointed. T-Mobile stores don't have a great selection of phones at all.
I decided to pick this little flip phone up, and I was NOT disappointed.
On the outside the phone looks pretty sleek and stylish. I've received plenty of compliments on how it looks.
I like Samsung phones and I loved this one. Samsung makes gorgeous displays (I own a Samsung MP3 player and TV as well) and this phone didn't disappoint.
It comes with an solid Mp3 player that pumps out amazing sound quality through the built-in green speaker on the front of the phone. This little speaker is amazingly loud, and was an instant hit with all of my friends.
The earphones it comes with also pump out top shelf sound but are a tad uncomfortable in my ears. If the included earphones are a problem for you, don't fret, the box comes with an adapter so that you can use any headphones you want.
It also has an excellent 1.3 megapixel camera that takes great pictures for a phone in this price range.
The Video camera is capable of a 352 x 288 resolution screen, with a duration that is as long as your Micro SD memory card can take.
You can transfer both your pics and videos easily using an included micro SD adapter.
The box also includes a USB adapter that you can use to transfer your songs to the phone using Windows Media Player. The sync process worked seamlessly for me, and was super simple to use. You can then set any song in your phone as ringer as well.
The only bad aspect I've seen with this phone so far, is an bad battery life. My last Samsung phone could last 3 and a half days with regular use, on one single charge. Make sure you charge your Beat every night, because it won't last 2 days without some juice.
Altogether, this is a great phone, packed with features. An excellent piece of technology for the price.

LG enV2 VX-9100 Black QWERTY Cell Phone for Verizon Wireless Review

LG enV2 VX-9100 Black QWERTY Cell Phone for Verizon Wireless
Average Reviews:

I received absolutely horrendous service from OEM Shop in Brooklyn, NY; a seller on the Amazoncom website. For several days, I left phone messages and sent emails to this seller. Finally I received an email back with an RMA# to return my item. I originally purchased the EnV2 LG cellphone that was described as refurbished MINT Condition. When I received the phone and contacted Verizon Wireless to activate the unit, the MEIN had been previously assigned to another account since 2009...and it was associated with a Samsung Reality. I called Verizon's technical support dept; then I stopped in at a Verizon location. No one could help me since the phone was already assigned to someone else. I then emailed OEM Shop again and requested a call back from a manager. Still to this day (2 weeks later), no one from OEM shop has called me back. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED!

Motorola RAZR V3xx Gray Phone (AT&T) Review

Motorola RAZR V3xx Gray Phone (ATandT)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I'm only writing this to disagree with the other reviewers. I have had my V3xx for about 7 months and happen to like it very much. Hi res internal display. LOUD ring and earpiece volume. It is a 3G phone so calls are good and data speeds are very fast. The battery life is NOT as good as my other Nokias and Samsungs BUT it is MUCH better than previous versions of the Razr phones.
I rarely get dropped calls and no one has EVER complained about sound quality on the phone.
Quality is no problem. My 17 year old son has the same phone. He has dropped it a few times with no problems, and he text messages about 2000 times monthly. He has had no keyboard problems at all.
Don't get me wrong, this phone is not the best out there, but it is a very good phone that I would get again.

Featuring the perfect blend of broadband-like speed, dynamic multimedia capabilities, and cutting-edge design, the MOTO RAZR V3xx offers the same iconic all-metal construction. But the V3xx is boosted with enhanced media capabilities as well as access to AT&T's dual-band HSDPA/UMTS high-speed 3G network, which makes it easy to download music purchased from AT&T Mobile Music's partners Napster and eMusic and watch video streamed from CNN and Comedy Central via AT&T's Cellular Video. The phone also features a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity for both communication headsets and stereo headphones, a hot-swappable MicroSD memory card slot (up to 4 GB), and access to your favorite instant messaging networks.
AT&T Service This AT&T phone can handle high-speed data connectivity via AT&T's 3G mobile broadband data network, which is available in most major metropolitan areas. The AT&T 3G network uses the UMTS 850/1900 network (also known as UMTS/HSDPA), making it possible to enjoy a variety of feature-rich wireless multimedia services with speeds up to 3.6 Mbps. It also gives AT&T the advantage of offering simultaneous voice and data services.
In areas where the 3G network is not available, you'll continue to receive service on the AT&T EDGE network, which offers availability in more than 13,000 US cities and along some 40,000 miles of major highways. Providing average data speeds between 75-135Kbps, it's fast enough to support a wide range of advanced data services, including video and music clips, full picture and video messaging, high-speed color Internet access, and email on the go.
You get access to AT&T Mobile Music, which enables you to buy tracks while on the go, access the Napster and eMusic subscription music services, stream music video, discover what's playing with Music ID song-recognition software, and find out what's hot with The Buzz music news portal.
This phone is also enabled with mSpot's Make-UR-Tones application (subscription required), which allows you to easily create a ringtone from your favorite part of a song directly on your phone. To use the application, use the application's search engine to select a song and then cut the part of the song you want to customize as their ringtone--up to 30 seconds--by using the easy-to-use waveform editor. Make-UR-Tones subscribers can enjoy exclusive access to more than 250,000 titles from music labels EMI Music, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, INgrooves and IRIS.
The phone is also packed with multimedia streaming and download capabilities. AT&T's Cellular Video (CV) service features content from CNN, The Weather Channel, iFilm, Comedy Central and exclusive premium content from HBO and much more. And it has a built-in web browser for MEdia Net downloads and mobile web browsing. AT&T's MEdia Net service enables you to receive and send emails, read news headlines, get weather updates, download games and ringtones, and more.
Note that if you want to enjoy the full audio and video capabilities of your UMTS phone, be sure to select a MEdia Max service plan option during checkout. If you do not sign up for a MEdia Max service plan option, you will be paying per KB when you use the over-the-air UMTS audio and video features on your phone (upwards of $10 per minute).
Phone Features At 0.58 inches thick, the RAZR V3xx is virtually the same thickness as the original RAZR. And like the original RAZR, the phone's design takes the standard clamshell form factor to the next level with an impressive, fully-anodized aluminum construction, and 60 MB of internal memory. A large 240 x 320 color display with over 262,000 colors dominates the inside of the top cover, while the outside cover of the handset sports a supplementary 96 x 80 full-color display that can display caller ID pictures, time, call information, battery and signal strength, and more. The integrated VGA and 1.30-megapixel digital camera is housed above this display. Use the VGA camera for live two-way video calls at up to 15 frames per second. Up/down buttons are placed on the left side for volume control, as well as the camera button and mini-USB port.
Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's backlit control pad, which is precision cut from a single sheet of nickel-plated copper alloy. A mini-USB port is provided, which, while useful for fast data transfer, can also be used with compatible USB stereo headsets. Note that the phone does not have a standard 2.5mm headset jack. Lastly, a charging port is placed on the bottom of the phone, and an unobtrusive internal antenna is safely tucked away, keeping the phone's design compact and portable.
The RAZR V3xx's internal phone book can hold up to 1000 contacts while the phone's picture ID system allows you to assign pictures to your most common callers. The phone also supports polyphonic ringtones as well as MP3 ringers, allowing you to use portions of your favorite songs to alert you to incoming calls. For times when you want to be discreet, there's a vibrating alert. A built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear while voice activated dialing makes calling your friends, family and associates as easy as saying their names. Speaker-independent technology allows any speaker to dial numbers with the voice dialing system. And because the RAZR V3xx is Bluetooth enabled, wireless headsets for calling, and even wireless stereo headsets for music can be configured with the phone for total handsfree operation.
