I have at&T and I had this model with them, but unfortunetley I dropped it pretty hard and broke it, but I love this phone, the features are great and I use the media player in the gym to listen to my music. I love that you can add memory to it. So on the tiny disc, I have my presentations, music and famiy pictures. It is great and easy to use. I lvoe that it is touch screen and it has a keyboard.
BAD if the touch screen stops working you will not be able to text message, their is no way to write text messages AND send them without the touch screen. I have had several of these models and twice this has happen, but I do drop my phone quite a lot. I have always had trouble with phones, but I do really enjoy this model.
Love it fits in your pocket, not big.. fits very good in your hands..aand the features are great

This phone is truly wonderful! I went through several Nokia cell phones and this one is the best one of them! I had the Nokia N81 which is Great! yet I was always troubled with writing my messeges or the websites addresses...etc. Therefore, I started fishing for a devise with a seperate Keypad that enables me to write freeely with no need to press the same key more than once and consume my time hence. This was the ONE!! it is not only easier to write but faster. I like the backlight that lets me seed my through the dark nights. I don't deny that I think I will be missing the 8 GB Nokia N81 however the 2 GB memory card saves enough and I keep downloading everything almost once a month on my computer. the software is Awesome. It is so easily conducted and teaches you step by step what to do. One feature that I truly love is the wireless network detection. I 've been in several places with wireless networks and the device was incredible not to mention it was able to download and open attachments I wasn't able to see in N81. So this one wins. I am still exploring it I've just owned it. However I am growing to like better and better. it is worth it :)

Motorola Rival A455 Phone, Purple (Verizon Wireless) Review

Motorola Rival A455 Phone, Purple (Verizon Wireless)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have been looking around for an upgrade and after a couple of months settled on this one - love it! The sound is great, no delay when talking cell-cell or cell-landline. Added bonus for me is the music player; I downloaded my music to a micro memory card and use it every evening for walking! I walk 5 miles a night and it doesn't even drop the battery one bar; great batter life! Also, did I mention it uses regular headphones; no need to buy the expensive one! Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. If there is a downfall to this phone it would be the speed dial; you have to open up to the qwerty key-board to use it, it will not work from the touch keypad for dialing numbers (at least I haven't figured it out if you can).

I was looking for a phone to replace my Nokia 3100 which has been a diehard. After reading the first and only review i took a chance and could not be happier. What made it even better was my wife's excitement about the phone. She is not very exciteable. So it was a real plus when she told me that she really like the phone. I was just looking for a good basic reliable phone, and got many more features than expected. I knew that it had a music player, but the 5 mp camera was icing on the cake. If you're willing to spend more, I'm sure there are better phones. But thus far me and my wife are very satisfied!

T-Mobile Shadow Phone, Black/Burgundy (T-Mobile) Review

T-Mobile Shadow Phone, Black/Burgundy (T-Mobile)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I got this phone after having a frustrating 9 months with a Blackberry. This phone is hands down better.
Nice thing is it works and for me is very solid. I am death on phones. Rarely do I make it to the contract end without totaling a phone. This one rides around in my back pocket all day with me sitting on it. I got to say that it feels like it is not so good a build quality. That said it has been dropped, stepped on, sat on, thrown and everything else you would never do to a phone (aside from water). It just keeps on working. Even the screen resists scratching well.
There are some cons. It feels plastic-Y It is not the fastest phone in terms of applications. But hey its Windows. Its not as slow as that awful Blackberry Pearl though. Some additional memory helps. It also has a application closer which when used really helps performance. Its not 3G either which means you are using EDGE (slow) to connect online. I don't do a lot of that but it is nice to read the local paper online when eating lunch.
Pros:
The "push" technology works great. Blackberry used to be the only one to offer this great service. Your emails are sent and received quickly and accurately. Being Windows mobile phone has many advantages too. There are literally thousands of applications out there and many are free. I changed out the browser and use Opera now and it is faster. I love the VOIP service too. Anywhere you have access to a wireless connection your calls are free (a monthly 10 dollar fee for the service). I talk a lot for business. Many times my minutes exceed 3000. Yet with my favs and VOIP am able to stay under 1000 for my plan. I have found that all Starbucks, Airports, many restaurants, and business have partnered with T Mobile for hotspots. Great service.
Is the phone perfect... no but I have yet to find one but I would buy this phone again.

LG VX9900 enV Green Cell phone for Verizon Wireless with No Contract Review

LG VX9900 enV Green Cell phone for Verizon Wireless with No Contract
Average Reviews:

I love the look and feel of this phone. I know it's an old model but I'm a simple kinda person. I hate touch screens and this phone is much more durable than newer ones. I bought this phone about three years ago and it was stolen so when I needed a replacement for my Versa (which I hated, by the way) I didn't hesitate to search for another enV. The one problem with this model is that it does randomly shut down sometimes, but it is rare. Also, the battery life is fantastic, even for a frequent texter like myself. I recommend this cellphone to anyone who doesn't want to spend a million dollars on useless gadgets like the Droid.

Blackberry 8820 Unlocked GSM Smartphone - Built-In GPS, WiFi, Media Player, Voice Dialing, Bluetooth, QWERTY Keyboard Review

Blackberry 8820 Unlocked GSM Smartphone - Built-In GPS, WiFi, Media Player, Voice Dialing, Bluetooth, QWERTY Keyboard
Average Reviews:

The 8820 offers a truckload of features without overwhelming the user and it can be easily customized to fit its owner's needs. It is a very good email device and it performs well as a phone and mobile Web browser.
Before the Bold I used to carry a fully-loaded Blackberry 8820 (just kidding). It was one of the smartest smartphones at the time it was launched and it's not too shabby these days either. One of my kids, actually, is using it and I would be very happy with it myself if I didn't have to carry the company-issued Bold.
Briefly about the Blackberry 8820:
- It was originally launched as an AT&T device.
- Unlike most of its predecessors it's actually 'black' in color and I like that.
- Rides on the EDGE network when available - pretty good bandwidth for emails and voice but.
- Good QWERTY keyboard.
- Can be set to use Wi-Fi, when available.
- Supports Bluetooth.
- Comes with a working Web browser and it accepts third-party such as Opera.
- Allows for downloading third-party apps and I had Yahoo!Go, Gmail, GoogleTalk and Opera downloaded and performing well on it.
- Many applets are preloaded: scheduler/calendar, contacts list, BlackBerry Messenger, Bricks, Calculator, Notepad and so on.
- NO CAMERA
- The phone can use the address book info for dialing.
- Of course, it integrates well with a corporate messaging infrastructure and it works well with Microsoft Exchange/Outlook.
- Practical battery life - about 2 days, 3-4 if not used a lot.
- Charges through the USB port.
- Elegant design.
- Bright, color screen.
- Speaker.
- Easy navigation with the ergonomically-placed track ball.
- Excellent customization: ring tones, alarms, custom folders, themes and so on.
- Solid build - ours is almost 3 years old and it looks and feels as good as new.
All I can say is that, if my boss told me that I had to surrender the Bold and get back to my old 8820, I would not mind too much.

LG VX8500 CHOCOLATE MP3 WHITE MUSIC PHONE in Mint Condition for Verizon Wireless with No Contract - Refurbished in Brand New Housing and 30 Day Seller's Warranty (Refurbished) Review

LG VX8500 CHOCOLATE MP3 WHITE MUSIC PHONE in Mint Condition for Verizon Wireless with No Contract - Refurbished in Brand New Housing and 30 Day Seller's Warranty (Refurbished)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
It says mint condition but actually just the housing is in mint condition, the phone itself is refurbished. Meaning you may end up with a battery that doesn't work.
Also if you want to get music on this, you'll need to buy a media cable ($10), and possibly a new charger if the charger doesn't work ($5).
This is a HIGH MAINTENANCE phone. It's kind of a fixer-upper.
Also some basic specs you should know beforehand,
- don't expect a perfect phone
- This model is from 2008, meaning NO 3G/4G/noG
- Slow internet access
You should also consider the activation fee (about $27)
And the minimum amount for a prepaid plan to get it going ($15)
The pros are it comes with a variety of ringers and it's pretty easy to set up once you get it going.
Audio quality is good, headphones that come with the phone are ok but I would suggest upgrading to a nicer pair that don't fall out of your ears as easily. ($20)
So in addition to the phone which cost me about $60,
I spent an extra $77 to be able to use the phone to it's capacity.
In total $137. Which looking on it now, I could have gotten a brand new smartphone with better capabilities + a warranty for that price.
YES the buttons are sensitive and weird, but it is a very VERY cute/sexy phone. That's why I chose it. For it's appearance. And since I picked it for such a reason, I ended up paying the price, pun intended.
If you still really want this phone, go for it, once it's running it's an ok phone, but it's REALLY more of a GLAMOR phone. Just for looks. BUYER BEWARE.I wanted a 'music phone' because I was looking for a new mp3 as well as a new cellphone.
If that's all you are looking for too, take my advice and get something like a Samsung Gusto and a Sansa music clip like I was planning to do before I made the mistake of falling in love with this phone. :p

LG Rumor LG260 Phone, White (Sprint) Review

LG Rumor LG260 Phone, White (Sprint)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Pros:
-Uses Sprint Vision (Not Power vision - EV-DO) so I didn't need to change my plan. -but this may be a con for others-
-Qwerty key pad
-1.3 Mp camera
- Applications: Facebook, Aim, Instant messenger, Email, internet.
-Micro Sd slot so you can store more music and pictures
-Bluetooth
-size and weight is great and the raised buttons make it easier to dial.
-music player sounds pretty goodCons:
*Some of my con's are quiet specific to things that I usually want/need in a phone, and didn't realized until after I had received the phone. Its still a good phone, but I would be happier if it had some improvements.
-Camera doesn't have a flash.
-Glitches in photo program. If you select pictures to save to your phone (either via online albums or pictures sent) it may save the photos you didn't want, or will just save the first photo 3 times, instead of the 3 different photos you selected.
-QWERTY key pad should have a button for the period, you need to "shift" then hit the period.
-The typing software can use some improvement, such as predicting words and such. The feature is there but lacks accuracy.
-Screen needs better resolution & colors. currently 176x220 pixel resolution.
-*Can't use own music (on SD card) as ringtones,
-*Difficult/can't use own pictures (from SD card) as the background/screen-saver.. I still can't figure it out.
-*Short cut navigation key for some reason the category "My content" doesn't let you make a shortcut for the sections within it. I want a shortcut key to Google maps, which is within 'my content', but it doesn't allow it, the best it will do is let you shortcut to 'my content' and then you have to scroll from there which is kinda annoying..
-*The idle/key lock screen is always the black screen with the time that you can't change.
-*There isn't a flashing light to tell you of a missed alert, until you click on a button and see the black/keylock screen. Else the phone just looks like its sleeping, so you have to consistently click on the buttons to see if you've missed any alerts. Pictures you take with the phone look pretty well (granted you have the prefect lighting) on the computer, but everything on its low resolution screen makes photos seemed washed out and blurry.

LG Neon GT365 Phone, White/Green (AT&T) Review

LG Neon GT365 Phone, White/Green (ATandT)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
LG Neon GT365
Pros:
- Medium size, slick appearance and sturdy design.
- Sliding QWERTY keyboard.
- Bluetooth enabled.
- MicroSD slot.
- Easy navigation.
- Threaded messaging*.
- Shortcut button to Create New Message located on keyboard.
- Conference calling.
- Inexpensive.
Cons:
- USB cable costs extra.
- No voice-dial feature.
- Keyboard takes effort getting used to.
Features:
- 2.4 in LCD screen
- Touch screen phone dialing.
- Easy access to Instant Messaging (IM) such as AIM, Yahoo! Or Windows Live.
- Easy access to Email such as AT&T, AOL, Yahoo! and Windows Live.
- 2 MP camera and video.
- Yellow Pages application.
- Music player.
- Tools: calendar, notepad, calculator, world clock, stopwatch, unit converter.
- Automatic key-lock.
- Call speaker.
- Flight mode.
- Call waiting and call forwarding.
- GSM/GPRS/EDGE network
Overall the LG Neon is a good value. It is easy to use and only takes a couple of minutes to set-up and get started.
The sliding keyboard is great for better SMS-ing but the keys could be a bit larger, in my opinion. The USB connection cable is offered as an extra accessory and it will set you back $30 to $40. The LG Neon does not have voice dialing built-in, although AT&T offers a similar service for a monthly fee.
The salesperson referred to the LG Neon as a hybrid touch-screen phone. The only touch-screen feature available is the numerical phone dialing screen which is conveniently accessible from the main interface.
Reading and sending email is quite simple if you have an AT&T, AOL, Yahoo! Or Windows Live account. Internet browsing is provided by AT&T Media Net application, but I immediately downloaded the Opera Mini browser. The Yellow Pages application could be useful but I also recommend downloading the Google Maps for mobile phones.
The Music folder contains limited trial subscription to Music ID and Make UR Tones applications. Demo games include Ms. PAC-MAN and Bubble Bash. The Neon has 14MB internal memory capacity and also features a microSD slot which supports cards up to 4 GB for extra storage. The Bluetooth wireless connectivity supports A2DP technology which can stream audio in stereo directly to the headset.
Aside from the touch-screen dialing pad, the two little features I enjoy the most about this phone are the "threaded messaging" and the "Create New Message" button on the keyboard. The threaded messaging displays full conversations and not just fragmented replies, while the New Message button is conveniently located on the keyboard.
I can get used to the LG Neon GT365 and for my particular needs this is a good phone. I do believe that the voice-dialing should be a standard feature and the USB cable should be included. With that said, I would recommend this phone for those who want simplicity and reliability for e-communication and quality voice calls.

i ordered it, it came in how many ever days it said it would come, it came brand new as it said it would and im enjoying the phone very much.
its small, cheap, and very easy to use. there's no new technology to it like android or something, its all the basics on the menu but it's got a full QWERTY keyboard. texting is incredibly easier with this phone and much more enjoyable, its also probably one of the smallest full QWERTY keyboard phones there are,
i hope this helped!

Samsung a237 Phone, Blue (AT&T) Review

Samsung a237 Phone, Blue (ATandT)
Average Reviews:

Samsung A237 Phone, Blue (AT&T)
Just got this one for my technophobic husband who just wants a phone to get and receive calls easily. It's loaded with plenty of bells and whistles (camera, music player, etc. etc.) he'll never use, but he loved it right out of the box. A few years ago he had a similar model, but wasn't put off by this phone's newer, sleaker view on the screen.
The numbers and letters on the buttons are easy for him to see without his readers, even in the dark, so he doesn't have any trouble hitting the right buttons the first time he tries, and he's got BIG fingers.
It's a great "starter phone" and I'd highly recommend the Samsung A237 for anyone who wants a simple, functional, rugged, but good-looking phone. All the extras are there if you want them but they don't get in the way of using it for POTS (plain-old-telephone-service).
I got myself the new Samsung Eternity, which I LOVE and haven't even looked at the DVD of instructions that came with it yet, but then I'm enough of a technogeek to be dangerous.

I really enjoy this phone! In fact, I'm using it now to complete this review! I've had it for a month now without any problems. I had been trying to find a phone that would work well with my TMobile or ATT sims. Plus, I wanted something with a keyboard because all touchscreen was starting to get old for me.
