The only thing i can see that u can't do is u cant turn off the beeping sound when you move to the right when typing a text message im use to it but some people could find it rather annoying. Also, u can make any .wav or .mp3 file a text message alert but u can't individualize message alert sounds for certain people in your directory like a motorola razor which seems to be the only phone that i personally know of that can do it but on the plus side you can make any sound or video a ringtone for anyone in your directory which is pretty awesome to have a video play when someone calls. Also, if u have windows vista like i do the software that comes with the phone will install just fine but it won't install the usb driver correctly so you can't upload any files through the software but if you buy a 1gb memory card you can just select mass storage on the phone when u connect to a usb and the vista will detect the memory card right away. So to sum it up, if u dont buy a memory card windows vista won't install the usb drivers correctly and u won't be able to upload any files from your comp to your phone. But, if u buy a memory stick the OP will detect the card and u will be able to just click and drag files to the memory stick removable drive. Thats probably the biggest hurdle. Also, all videos must be in 3gp format in order to work so make sure u download a converter if u wanna add any vids. But all in all its an awesome phone.

(More customer reviews)I don't know why I'm reviewing this after, what 4 years since this phone has been out? Well I like going to the cheap route sometimes, and this was one of those instances. I bought this new 4 years after it was released, and I can tell you that I can see why Blackberry caught on. This phone has flawless execution, meaning that the menus and options are not implicitly absconded through menus and sub menus, they are easy to manage through and easy to read through.
This phone offers all that the new blackberry's have except, well graphics, camera, video, and unfortunately speakerphone and polyphonic ringtones. What you get though is vintage Blackberry. You get the email, memos, bluetooth, web browsing, passwords vaults, and all the usual blackberry antics. The battery lasts for me well over 7 days without usage, and 3+ days with usage. It has great reception and I find it easier to navigate through, with it's simple and basic, but rather outdated menu system. What can I say, I'm a sucker for retro, even if that means 4 years.
Are you substituting technology for reliability and simplicity? Yes, but it's worth it.

The Nokia 5300 XpressMusic phone, which features a stylish slider design and can hold up to 1,500 music tracks, keeps the focus on advanced music portability. With dedicated external music keys, stereo Bluetooth, and a memory card slot supporting up to 2 GB of memory, the 5300 offers a comprehensive feature set at an accessible price. Firstly, the phone is black version indeed not silver as amazon posted on their website. At this price, the phone comes in an open box not film-sealed.
The included SD card is without nokia logo while in a brand phone kit it should be. Although there's no scratches on the phone, I know it's not a brand-new item. It's just a rufurbished or re-assembled phone that you can buy from ebay.
Finally, I realized that this is a discontinued nokia cell phone 2-3 years ago. And since it's a so hot model then, there should be no brand-new stocks for sell now.
I asked amazon for returning and a full refund. I was transfered to their cell phone department. Although there's a little unhappy things, amazon credit back my money at the end.

If you are looking for a good carry phone that is solid , has good voice quality , takes pictures fairly well , and will hold a couple of mp3 tunes this could be the one for you. This is not a champion multi-media phone but it will handle your light work. It is solidly constructed and I actually liked the rubber finish. It's an older model so the U.I. is a bit dated don't let that scare you. If you just need a basic phone that has a few tricks up it's sleeve you may just get a Pebl for your thoughts.

(More customer reviews)wow this phone is great! very light small beautiful design great 65000 colour screes (another reviwer frankie wrote 256 which is wrong!) one of the best reception phone i have ever had and the sound/voice quality is great! it also has a 40 polyphonic ringtone ringer which sounds great! its got a talking clock! its got an fm tuner! its a slide design which is still not common and it is a very unique looking phone! they have defenitley taken their designs from the vertu phones.
on the down side it does feel "flimsy" or "breakable" but i must say that i have dropped this phone more then a few times and this phone keeps on working great! it did restart on me a couple of times but that happens on many phones.
all in all i love this phone! and recommend it to anyone that is looking for a good reception unique looking phone that probabley no has around your area!

I bought the phone from SellphoneStop. The phone title is refurbised one, but the condition shows New. Actually, it is not new but refurbised one from a very old used phone. There is some gap between the touchscreen and the phone frame and the dust easy goes into the phone. Please pay attention to that if you want to return the phone you have to pay 15% restocking fee and the shipping fee. And the battery cannot be returned. The battery is a faked OEM one, not the genine Blackberry battery. One good point is that the service response is quick. In a word, bad quality with a quick service response. I could never get more than one bar and if I did it was for about 5 seconds. The speaker is very sensitive and my friends complained about how loud and distorted I sounded when talking to them. I could have lived with the sound but what good is a phone if you can't talk on it? They don't sell these in America and apparently my wife ordered if from overseas somewhere unknowingly.

FALSE!!!!!!!! The paint has these weird black bubbles in it, the micro sd compartment was broken but still held the chip. Not only did it slide up and down, and side to side, but if you open it quickly it opens all ways, That is NOT supposed to happen. This was supposed to be a present but it is visibly USED, and NOT in excellent condition, ask to see a photo of the phone you want to purchase, I have contacted the seller, and they have promised a full refund. However I am busy planning a wedding and took the phone with me to Maryland so I could ship it from there, I got really busy and never had the opportunity to mail it, and on top of that I left it there, I live in Ohio. I don't know when my fiance's parents will be able to mail it so by the time they mail it and I get it and then pay to return it, it'll probably be past the return date, and will be stuck with a crappy used phone. I paid 75 for it. I found a LG Xenon Touch screen BRAND NEW for 119 shipped. Got that and its a great phone, plus its not used, spend the extra 35 dollars and get a new phone. Avoid the hassle.
