(More customer reviews)I spent 4 hours reading reviews on various cell phones, including two hours on the W755, before buying.
Overall, I couldn't be more pleased. I upgraded from an LG phone that was just over two years old. Several of the W755's features are one's that I either did not have available on the LG, or were ones that I was not impressed with on prior phones.
What a pleasant surprise the following were:
1. The speaker phone works very well. I had seen reviews complaining about the speaker phone function. Compared to the LG, this thing is paradise. It has plenty of volume and does not suffer from severe distortion.
2. Voice command: excellent, even without training. Most of my calls are made using voice command. I did learn over past years to enter names in my contact list "phoenetically", in other words, spell them out according to how they are most likely to be pronounced.
3. Verizon: a very nice utility to save your old phone's contact list to a web site, and then after activating the new phone, download the contact list to the new phone. Worked perfectly, first try! (also Auto-updating if you make future changes on your web-site contact list)
4. MP3 Player: worked better than I expected, even through the speaker phone. The free download of V-Cast Rhapsody software works very well for getting cuts from your computer on to the phone. I have a large MP3 collection and doing playlists on the computer and then drag/drop that playlist onto the W755 is as simple as it can get. (requires downloading and installing the proper motorola usb drivers...follow the Verizon V-Cast Rhapsody links...DO NOT go directly to Rhapsody, as you will end up with the wrong drivers and software not customized to the W755)
5. Camera: requires a steady hand and fluorescent lights require adjustment of color balance. The pictures are usable, but not up to "real" camera standards.
6. Blue Tooth: a very big surprise was the ability to send pictures wirelessly to the local Wal-Mart Kodak Picture Maker.
7. Blue Tooth Headset: I got two Motorola H710 headsets. They paired easily and work phenomenally well.The phone/headset pairing is remembered and initialized automagically, so future uses require no intervention other than opening the boom on the headset (assuming you have Blue Tooth turned on in the W755)
8. Ergonomics: fits the hand well, nicely reinforced hinge compared to the Razer. Larger buttons than I was used to (a real plus) and tactile feedback of button presses is welcome, as well. The display is large enough to not stress my aging eyes. Fits in my shirt pocket easily with two pens and a penlight, even with the double capacity battery. (I know, nerdy!)
9. Display Schemes: while several are offered, the "Youth" selection produces a clear, attractive and readily readable display.
10. Ring tones: I found a utility to send ring tones to the phone, and several sites that allow free access to ring tones, and one particular site that creates a ring tone from user entered text and generates morse code ring tones. I now have every person in my contact list set to spell out their name in morse code when they call. (obviously of limited utility to non-radio amateurs, but worth a mention)
11. Interfacing to Computer: the USB to mini-USB data cable has worked properly with both V-Cast/Rhapsody (for transferring MP3 files), and the aforementioned utility for moving ring tones to the W755. Auto-updating contact list via the web site works amazingly well and quickly (this is done via the wireless phone itself, no data connection required).
Cons:
1. Vibrate is weak. Not a factor for me, but I doubt it could ever be heard on a couch...I could just barely tell it was vibrating on a glass table, in a largish living room.
2. Memory card storage is inconveniently located under the battery compartment. Since I have a 2 gig card, I don't have much need to move it in and out of the phone, but it still isn't a great place to locate the card.
Summary:
I got two phones, one for the wife, who is NOT easily pleased. We are both happy with all aspects of the phone, as noted above. It is the best cell phone we have ever used, much less owned. Highly recommend both it and the Motorola H710 headset.

Phone Features The Moto W755 clamshell phone offers dual displays as well as dedicated music controls surrounding the external screen. It has a standard numeric keypad with send/end keys, 4-way navigation toggle, and soft keys. The internal LCD has a 176 x 220-pixel resolution, while the external display measures 96 x 80 pixels; both screens support up to 65K colors. The internal 21 MB memory can store up to 1000 contacts, with each entry able to store up to 5 numbers and a picture ID. Nokia 6822 Unlocked Cell Phone with Camera--U.S. Version with Warranty (Silver) Review

(More customer reviews)I've had the 6820 from back in the days of AT&T Wireless and absolutely loved it: QWERTY keyboard that is exceptionally easy to use, Bluetooth, GSM/works in europe, great battery life, and it's compact and secure.
I mention "secure" in the sense that the settings stay where you lock them. I've had so many phones that change ring volume settings, turn themselves off, unlock themselves or even call people when the phone is in my front pocket. This phone is small enough to carry in my pocket (instead of the lame hip-holsters)and my pants don't end up calling my friends or colleagues.
After some time, the 6820 inevitably broke, and by then it was off the market. Oddly, it was the ringer that broke--the flip mechanism is quite robust.
But then I was stuck without a phone. I sure didn't want a dingleberry, or a Treo. I would always joke at those folks by holding a notebook up to my ear and saying "Hello?" I want a phone, not a small laptop that can read .xls files. But the choices were slim.
I really wanted QWERTY because using SMS can be really convenient and I can't stand using T9. And I needed bluetooth for the car, and GSM for europe.
My only choice was to try that new Samsung SGH-D307 with the flip out keyboard. I was shocked how poor that is. The menu system is so dis-integrated that as one review puts it "you have to actively ignore what the buttons say, and use buttons that indicate things you DON'T want to do." Talk about cognitive dissonance. Oh, and the QWERTY doesn't work for anything other than SMS. So you can't even use it for entering addresses. QWERTY is supposed to let you avoid T9 predictive text, but the Samsung is so ill-developed, QWERTY only works for SMS and IM. Uugh.
There was literally no decent solution on the market until the 6822 was released. The only downside to the origial 6820 was its mediocre camera and screen resolution, both of which are addressed in the 6822.
Just don't order through nokiausa--it's customer service is so infuriatingly poorly run that you'll pop a few blood vessels. My order for this in-stock product languished for 10 days. Yes, I even upgraded to FedEx next-day, but nokia had no problem with my order being in the "not yet processed" state. Hmmm? So I call in several times find out about the delay and they would say that the order was not authorized because "the address information was wrong." I'm pretty sure I know my own address, and having my order number, I could see I had not made a typo.
So I called AMEX and they (of course) confirmed my billing address, but moreover said they hadn't declined my card due to AVS mismatch. Hmmm. Did nokia even try to process my order? I doubt it. I even had a nokiausa supervisor hang up on me when I asked her name for reference.
So after many calls and several hours of my time, I couldn't get to the root of the problem. Customer service couldn't help because the problem was allegedly in billing, but yet they wouldn't allow me to talk to billing. "That's not an option." the supervisors would tell me. They would assure me that their billing department would call me, but that never happened. I could never find out what billing was saying to AMEX. But again, according to AMEX, they never declined my card so either nokiausa billing department was lying about an AVS problem with my order, or they are so broken they were submitting someone else's information. In any case, try as I might, the 'problem' couldn't be identified, much less solved, so I had no choice but to give up. What a huge waste of time.
Bottom line: the 6822 is a fabulously small QWERTY, bluetooth, multimedia camera, GSM phone with no extraneous features or extra size. I heartily recommend buying it. The Finns know how to build a great phone. They're just not as successful as running a US order and customer service center that you can count on.

This update to the wildly popular Nokia 6820 ups the ante with a more vibrant screen, an improved camera and sleek new colors. Nokia was smart not to change much else with the 6822; the same innovative fold-out QWERTY keyboard is here, plus support for EDGE high speed data, Bluetooth, and a speakerphone.
Design At first, the 6822 looks like a mild-mannered candybar phone. Looks can be deceiving, though. Flip the phone open and you're presented with a full QWERTY keyboard. The 128 x 128 display, which features support for 65,000 colors, automatically rotates for horizontal viewing -- making it easy to type emails and text messages. An internal antenna means there's nothing to snag in your pocket. When the phone is in the closed position, a five-way center button above the handset's dial pad controls most of the phone's functions. Meanwhile, a USB-compatible port for data synchronization and wireless modem functionality is provided on the bottom of the unit. The phone's VGA (640 x 480) camera unit is located on the rear of the device.
Calling Features The 6822's address book can store multiple phone numbers, as well as physical and email addresses. Meanwhile, the phone's built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear. Polyphonic ringtones are included, as is a vibrating alert. Ringer IDs let you assign specific ringtones to particular callers, while picture ID technology lets you similarly assign images or pictures to callers. Name-based voice recognition dialing lets you dial numbers with the sound of your voice. Lastly, the phone's Bluetooth connectivity means that your favorite Bluetooth headset is fully compatible.
Messaging, Internet, and Tools The 6822's QWERTY keyboard makes it a natural mobile messaging and email companion. With support for the MMS (multimedia messaging service), the phone can send picture, video and text messages. When coupled with the 6822's camera, MMS opens up great opportunities for robust messaging. Instant messaging is also supported, and the phone ships with a built-in email client that supports POP3 and IMAP protocols, as well as BlackBerry push email services.
Getting on the Internet is easy with the 6822, too. It supports the GPRS data protocol, as well as the new, high-speed EDGE wireless data service. When used with a carrier data plan and the phone's USB or Bluetooth data capability, the phone can be used as a wireless modem for laptops and PDAs. There's also a built-in web browser for downloads and mobile web browsing. T9 text entry, a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit-- a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.

I carried a heavy box down a flight of stairs and must have leaned on the phone in my pocket because when I took it out, the internal LCD had shattered without leaving the slightest mark on the outer plastic coating.
The qwerty keypad is too small and too flat for man hands, I have to type with my fingernails and even then I make mistakes. I imagine if you are on the small side or a female then this will not be an issue.
You cannot access the GPS feature unless you use Sprint Navigation.
Voice quality is a little static prone.
The internet browser is only for mobile sites and doesn't work for some sites at all.UPDATE 6/19: 6 months later and I never really got used to the keyboard, it's not like I can make my fingers smaller. I have also grown frustrated at the lack of mobile sites and am wishing for a true web browser.

(More customer reviews)I'm a proud owner of the Samsung Blast for roughly 1 month. My motorla phone finally took one fall to many and stop functioning. Of course I initially wanted an Iphone or its likeness based on all its cool new features, but quickly realized that both the phone and the monthly plan was to expensive. My criteria for a phone was cheap, be cool, and have a qwerty like keyboard.
I was initially drawn to the Blast because of its mini-qwerty keyboard. The pearl 8100 was my only other finalist. Afters days of indecisiveness and research I choose the blast because A)surfing the web wasn't important feature for me {and i wasn't impressed at all with the speed of the 8100's net}. B)Blast was noticeably cheaper.
Most sales rep's are useless about all the features this phone carries. After purchasing it I had mixed fixings but let me tell you, the more you know of the phones features, the more you're GOING TO LOVE IT! Things I love about this phone, in order of coolness determined by me!
Keyboard: I found myself typing more and more on the phone this year so having extra buttons has been a great addition. Auto-complete is almost always on par(to the point I only check right before i send). Once you understand the rhyme and reason to how its laid out you'll be sending messages faster. Except, somethings like, :) , make you go through an extra set of menu to type out which makes me very :(Checking email without paying an extra $20-$30 a month. Had no idea my phone had this feature til after i bought the phone (again, thanks to useless sales guys)!I mainly use gmail and I connected very easily - not sure why people had problems. Yahoo's built in so that too was easy. Very surprised how easy it was based on other peoples problems.
Voice Activated Commands - Typically anything voice activated sucks. My GPS has one, voice dictation, my other phone. Heck, my other phone made me record the name and then when i went to search by voice it couldn't find it. This phone makes every entry in your contacts callable by voice, without any set up! With one button i say "call mike". If its sure it will connect you directly, if not it will give you three choices. These two options are right about 98%, amazing! Theres many other voice commands like say, "Call 555-555-1234" or ones that take you right to a function.
There's also this cool feature that will sound out what number your dialing. Don't have it turned on, but a fun feature, possibly great for the blind community (but how will they know this from my review?)
Auto-Complete - lets say its noisy, voice activation won't work that well, so dont worry. After you type in the first 3 numbers, it automatically brings up numbers fitting that sequence stored in your phonebook for recommendations.
Seach phonebook by name: This feature was a big pet-peeve of mine with my motorola. Lets say i wanted to get the number for mike. Well i had 20 friends that started with M and i had to scroll down past everyone til i got to his name. Not anymore, just spell his name in the directory and takes me right there. This isn't a new feature, but my motorola didn't have this feature and I never got over it (my 1st phone did)!
Large picture ID when your friends call and you store their photo.
Bluetooth works great. Nothing really special but no problems either.
Tip Calculator that factors in percentages a user can define (no big deal really to me as this is a simple math equation) but it then has a feature dividing it by number of paying customers and the total for each person, pretty nifty.
Unit Calculator: Whats 1.5 oz in pounds, or whats 83 fahrenheit in Celsius. It converts length, weight, volume, area, temperature 100's of different ways - very cool feature i discovered & now my friends turn to me and say " Hey, whats ..."!
Lock out feature: Letting somebody borrow your phone doesn't have to feel like an invasion of privacy. By pushing some buttons you can make the phone locked out to only the most basic features like dialing digits. Haven't found a use for it just yet but i predict it will come in handy someday.
It also has tons more basic features and some other nifty programs waiting for you to discover. The phone had a bit of a learning curve, new keyboard layout, new features all took time to get use to but once you learn them you'll love the phone for what it can do.
So my experience isn't 100% rosy. Here's what i don't like.
The Manual. Since you'll find yourself referring it dozens of times it didn't always give you a clear answer. Example:
The phone has tons of icons on the main page and one of these icons kept blinking - for the life of me i couldn't figure out what it was. Checked the manual 10 different ways and it was finally 3 days later, annoyed at my blinking phone i call the friendly customer support tmobile lady who luckily had a similar phone. Same exact problem and went through pulling her hair out to get rid of it. She guided me to the fix. Come on Samsung, go through the book fill those holes (theres more I could go into but for the sake of your time and my blood pressure i'll skip)
Comfort - I've always had the flip phones and like that design. The slide design doesn't contour that well to your face and i find myself either blocking the mic with my finger (who's the genius engineer who places the mic where you naturally rest your finger) while trying to wrap it around my head . I'm getting more use to it, positioning my hands. If i'm goign to have a long conversation I tend to use my bluetooth anyways.
Mini qwert problems. Since you now have letters assigned to different buttons you can no longer make a call based on letters (IE: call bob at 800-CALL-BOB) because the letters now don't properly align. This could be an easy fix but Samsung doesn't have any solutions that i'm aware of.
Cases: Because of its unique design, finding proper, form-fitting cases has been somewhat of a challenge. Although i've found some options, there not readily available. Shortcuts - You've probably notice a tendency in my review to make a call or function in as few steps as possible. Samsungs done a great job in this regard except you can only program one button on its face (out of a possible 12) to your preference. Sucks because some shortcuts i'll never use (like memo voice recorder) and would love to change it out.
Very limited choice of ring-tones/msg tones. I'm surprised by this,well, maybe not 'that' surprised considering if you want something cool sounding on your phone be prepared to fork over $2 a pop. No thanks, i'll figure out the free way, eventually. Overall i'm happy with my choice. Receptions good, volumes are about average of a cell. I initially only resigned with Tmobile for a year because i figured in that time Tmobile will have phones more like the iphone. But each day i discover something new within the Blast and it's been a fun, rewarding learning experience. Still have a few more unknowns to solve & can't wait to figure them out. I'd recommend it as a great mid-range cell. Price was right & rich with feature. Perfect stepping stone to those of us that want something more then a basic boring phone but don't want all those unspoken of fees associated with those latest & greatest snazzy phones. Hope my review gives you some insight to my experience and helps you on your journey to a new, exciting phone.

(More customer reviews)Currently options are limited for Sprint users who would like to join the QWERTY crowd but don't want an expensive data plan. As of this writing, your current choices are the Samsung Rant, LG Rumor 2, LG Lotus or the Sanyo SCP-2700. Cool name it has not, but the Sanyo SCP-2700 has been proven to be a very reliable and durable and these factors alone make all the competition pale in comparison. Both the slider QWERTY's, the Rant and Rumor, are prone to issues with the screen and keyboard. Even if you're lucky enough to avoid the widespread issues of screens breaking and keyboards becoming unresponsive, the issue of the keyboard becoming dislodged in a pocket or purse and thus unlocking the keypad is a major annoyance. True, they can both play music, hold an SD card and the Rant has a camcorder, but the track record for the durability of these phones is absolutely awful. It is common to hear of people replacing these phones every few months. I don't think the music player and SD slot are quite worth that headache. As for the Lotus, it has just as many great features as the slider phones, but it has it's own host of issues, the most glaring being that it simply stops working for absolutely no reason at all. My brother has had this phone replaced twice in the 4 months he has owned it and both of my niece and nephew's Rants started having issues almost immediately after purchase.
That really leaves us with only one option: The Sanyo SCP-2700. Now, there are some major issues regarding the feature list on this phone. Other websites offering this phone claim it is music enabled. A call to Sprint even verified that the phone is music enabled, but upon bringing it home and reading the manual, it is not music enabled. Another source of confusion is whether or not you can use a Micro USB cable to transfer files to and from this phone. When attempting to purchase the phone from the Sprint website, it actually offers you a Micro USB data cable as an optional accessory. It took 3 calls to Sprint and one call to the tech department to get a definitive answer on both of these issues. This phone is NOT music enabled and does NOT have the capability to transfer files to and from your PC or laptop. If you like custom ringtones, you will have to download them. You aren't able to bluetooth them from another phone either. All of the negative reviews you will find on this phone are directly related to the misinformation that customers receive. They go into it thinking it will have features it does not, and then are rightfully disappointed. Though, in the Sanyo SCP-2700's shining favor, I've yet to come across a single statement about this phone breaking. Also, as of this writing, Sprint seems to have corrected their product page and "music-enabled" no longer appears in the feature list for this phone.
Now that I've emphasized the reliability and durability, it's time to talk features! I don't know how I lived without threaded texting before this phone. It makes texting so much easier and you can view entire conversations from over a course of several days or weeks rather than have all your messages from different contacts all jumbled together in one menu. It also has a kind of "call waiting" feature when it comes to texts. On past phones, when sending a text and another text or call comes in, you will lose what you were typing. With this phone, it saves a draft of the message you sent, even if you have several uncompleted messages to different people. It's entirely possible to carry on several text conversations at once with this feature. Text entry itself is very responsive and quick. Some people have stated that the keyboard is too small for their fingers but my husband has large, rough hands and has no trouble texting on this phone. The keys on the keyboard are rubberized and feel nice as you are typing. I also feel that the rubberized effect makes typing easier and more accurate than smooth keys, such as those on the LG Rumor 2, because it doesn't allow your fingers to slip all over the keyboard. Another nice feature is the ability to add a unique tone for each contact when you have an incoming text. Typically you only see this feature for incoming calls and the texts are all required to share the same tone. Now you can differentiate who is texting you with unique ringtones, or even make some incoming texts, such as those from people not in your contact list, completely silent. Clearly, this phone is the queen (or king!) of pure texting.
Another favorite feature of mine is the voice & ringer option for incoming calls and texts. When selected, it will read the name or phone number of the incoming call or text. Such as "Incoming call from Bob" or "You have a message from Chris". This is nice for people who want to have custom ringtones so they can identify the caller/texter without having to pay to download them off the internet. It does a pretty good job of pronouncing the names. You can enter a very long name if you'd like, though it will only pronounce the first three words. So, for example, you could have it say "Incoming call from your husband, John." All of this is done via text entry. You just name your contacts and set the ringer to voice & ringer and the phone does the rest. It's an excellent feature, especially for bluetooth users who like to be completely hands free. You can know who is calling without even looking at your phone.
Yet another huge bonus on this phone is that it uses the Nuance voice recognition software. For those who aren't familiar, Nuance allows you to talk out loud to make calls and perform other tasks on your phone, such as checking time, checking signal strength, or even opening your calendar, all using your voice. Voice recognition isn't exactly new to the scene, but in the past you had to "train" your phone to recognize your voice, going through one contact at a time and recording your voice so that the phone would recognize you and you alone. With Nuance, there is no training. It can read your voice along with everyone else's. No training required. You can simply say "Call Mom" and it will call. It may ask to verify what you said, to which you just answer yes or no and it will then make the call. If there are several numbers listed for that name, it will ask you which you'd like to call. To bypass this, you can just say "Call Mom Mobile" and it will go straight to your mom's cell phone without asking for you to choose which number you'd like to call. It is amazingly accurate in reading what you say, and you don't have to pronounce it slowly and overly loud to make it understand you. A normal tone of voice and normal pace of speaking works just as well. This feature is simply awesome with Bluetooth. With my Samsung WEP200 (which is perfect, by the way) I can leave my phone in my pocket or even in a central area of my home and have complete control over incoming and outgoing calls with just a single touch of the multi-function button on the headset. I can plug my phone in to charge and still go on with my day and send and receive calls from my phone without being near it. Again, awesome!
The battery life on this phone is also fantastic. I can easily go three days without charging the phone. That's primarily with a lot of texting and at least three hours of phone time. Overall, it is a fantastic phone for texting and hands free enthusiasts, young and old. I don't believe for a second that this phone is reserved for teens and tweens as other reviews have suggested. It is plenty sophisticated for the seasoned texter. The only thing it lacks are the more "fluff" features such as an MP3 player and camcorder which is most definitely aimed more at the younger crowd as most of the rest of us already have a dedicated MP3 player and camcorder that will easily outperform them. I may be old-fashioned but I like my phone to be a phone. I want it to be a communication device that I can use on the go. End of story. These are the main features of the Sanyo SCP-2700 that I love and use all the time. It has a lot more to offer though, including a great GPS system, web browser, voice memo (you can record calls as well with this), all your typical organizer tools, polyphonic ringers, and more. Some of the features go hand in hand with the QWERTY keyboard like the email software and access to social networks. The product description goes into full detail of all these features. Overall, this is an excellent phone and is hands down the choice for active texters and hands free users. Pass up the other junk on the market and get this phone that will last long after the others have been recycled.

(More customer reviews)Just got the Glyde a couple of days ago. I was really contemplating between the Glyde, the Envy2, the Voyager, the Venus, and the HTC XV6900. Needless to say, I wanted to stay with Verizon (best network).
So far, the only thing that has been bothering me about this phone is the flat and tiny QWERTY keyboard. As much as I don't like the Envy and Voyager, I have to admit that the LG QWERTY keyboard is easier to type on, even with the space bar on the sides (where the thumbs naturally rest).
Other than the tiny keyboard the Glyde is superior in everything else. Customizable menu's, speaker phone accessible without having to open the QWERTY keyboard, flash on the camera with a self portrait mirror, and compact in size.
In addition, the music player is great. The phone's built in speakers provide enough to fill an average size bedroom. I had the volume on max and the sound quality remained clear without any distortion. Very impressive.
I upgraded from a Samsung flip phone and like the fact that I can access this QWERTY keyboard with only one hand (unlike the clamshell style keyboards). One thing I noticed missing in this phone in its text messaging options is the "deffered delivery", where you can type up a text, schedule a future delivery date and time, and hit "send" and the message won't be delivered until the specified date and time. But it's not a big deal.
Menu's are very user friendly, touch screen is great. Has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it's unstoppable. I feel as though I can type out a text message faster using the touch screen key/number pad than I can the QWERTY keyboard.
Like I said, if the QWERTY keyboard was a bit larger and easier to use, this would be a perfect phone. The top row on the QWERTY feels very crammed, due to the side of the phone. I will give it another week or two to see if I can get used to the tiny QWERTY and determine whether or not it's a deal breaker. If I were to return this phone, my next choice would be the Voyager, only because it's a touch screen, similar to this Glyde.

I was having a problem with the text message inbox on my Glyde and spoke with VZ Technical Support and they tried several things and couldn't resolve the problem. I was advised to take the phone into a VZ store and have the software "flashed". What ended up happening is the newest version of the VZ Glyde software was installed on my phone (PRL V.51251, Media Center V.3.1.4...) and it was night and day compared to what originally came with the phone. The touch screen is SO much more responsive, all the menus look similar to that of the LG Dare (with the white background), and there are a lot more shortcuts that can be customized onto your personal menu. If you purchased your Glyde during the first 6 months of when it first came out, I highly recommend taking it to a Verizon Wireless store to get it flashed with the latest software. You'll pretty much walk out of there with a brand new phone.
One of the easiest way to figure out of your phone has the newer software is by going to the main menu, the shortcut on the top left corner of the screen should be "Media Center" (newer version), or "Get It Now" (older version). In addition, the background on this main menu will be white instead of black.

Phone Features The combination touchscreen, slider keyboard design of the Samsung Glyde provides a variety of ways of interacting with the phone's features. The large touch-enabled LCD measures 2.8 inches vertically and has a 240 x 440-pixel resolution and support for 262K colors. The front of the chassis has a single button (much like another, often talked about touchscreen phone), and the phone offers most of its controls via the touchscreen--which provides adjustable haptic vibrating feedback, so you know when you've pressed a button.
The front of the Glyde's face slides open from the left side of the phone and it's easy to open and close with just one hand. When the keyboard is opened, the display automatically changes to landscape orientation. The keyboard offers no dedicated numbers, so you'll do your dialing via the numeric keypad that appears on the or touchscreen.
The Glyde can store up to 500 contacts, with each entry able to store five phone numbers, two email addresses, notes, and a picture ID.
