BB-9 Dual SIM Mobile Phone Black (Unlocked, QWERTY) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I wouldn't purchase from this consumer again. The phone wasn't new,as stated. In addition to that, the charger worked for roughly 2days. And because I was out of the country (Which was the purchase reason), i had to go without the use of the phone because their was no place that had the same charger or one to match. I notified the sailer and I was, informing them that i will keep the phone if I could just receive a another charger. Their reply was that i needed to return the defective item in its original package. Of course that was impossible because not only had I not retain the box and rapping it came in but I had taken the phone with me out of the country.Had I known that the charger would be defective, i would have kept the packaging. So, nonetheless, I am stuck with a phone that can't be charged. I think that instructions /info that the retailer should have made known, is the fact that all packaging should be retained for up to a certain period in order to be refunded or defective items to be replaced.

Quad Band Touchscreen Cell Phone - Dual SIM / Dual Standby Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Bought this phone for my hobby and received it 4 days ago. It arrived in perfect condition. It came with two batteries, usb cord for battery charger and connection to pc and headset. It was the first time purchasing a unlocked cell phone so was worried whether the sims would work. They worked instantly! The phone is very easy to navigate, believe me we would be lost if we had to depend on the manual, which is written in poorly translated Chinese.
It is quite lightweight yet sturdy. The touchscreen operates well for now. The dual sim works which is the feature that he needed. Calls are received from either sim with no switching. He is pleased and so am I.

LG GX500 Dual Sim Unlocked GSM Cell Phone with 3 MP Camera, Touchscreen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, MicroSD Memory Card Slot--International Version with No US Warranty (Black) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Hi I received this phone.
First I want to refer to the portoguese Instruction Manual.
I received mine with a very good and extensive Instruction Manual in English and Chinese.
So no problem what so ever there.
About the back being of a plastic material .... Truth.
But the only time I opened the phone was to insert the 2 sims (different providers)
So it does not matter at all. maybe even better as for the total weight.
I bought this phone as I have lost my money with the previous one I purchased, which was the CECT Airphone 4.
This LG is so much better then the CECT Airphone 4. Which was a disaster.
Going to change my review on that one.
The LG GX500 is 100% to my liking. The picture quality is ok, not moving objects. And with good lichting.
The MP3 sound is exceptional good. The FM-Radio is perfect. I use 2 SIMS and it works flawlessly.
Serving the internet is not as fast as on a PC (ofcourse) but is good enough for me to check my mail or need to google something. Not for extensive web serving of course. Maybe the more expensive models?
The most important thing of course is the phone. The sound of both sims are perfect.
And dialing is as it must be.
I have not found one fault with this phone after using it for 6 weeks now. But again I have to say, with the experience I had with the Airphone 4, this is just so good.
This time I took more time experimenting with the phone before posting a review. So it get the full 5 stars.

Motorola EX128 GSM Quadband Dual Sim Phone (Unlocked) Review

Average Reviews:

Buen sonido

Duet D8 Unlocked Phone with Touch Screen, Dual SIM--International Version with Warranty (Black) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've had this phone for about four months now. It has really been convenient for me to utilise my two lines without carrying around two phones.
I have experienced two major problems
1. People constantly complain about not being able to hear me.
2. I keep putting people on hold once the phone presses on my face. Apparently, the hold function is the first option during a call. I find myself doing this and after seconds of silence when I check the phone I will see that the call has been placed on hold.
Otherwise, a minor complaint can be that the phone cannot go on speaker unless the call has been answered.
Overall, the phone is a good phone. Could have been excellent if not for the two major problems mentioned above.

General Moblie DSTL1 Imaginary, Android, Dual Sim Technology, Unlocked Cell Phone, 5 megapixel autofocus camera with flash (made by Sony),Wi-fi, Radio, MicroSD Slot, --US Version with Full US Warranty Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I need a dual-sim and have tried a Samsung, which went unstable after 1 year. I bought this DST-L1 and after the latest sw update I am very pleased with it. It has lots of features - and most of all: it's a good phone with good sound, good sensitivity and good battery economy.
It works fine here in Denmark.
The only thing I lack is Android Market, but there is plenty of other good sw outthere.
I am very pleased with this phone.

Duet D996 Tri-Band Dual Sim Cell Phone - Unlocked Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The Beyond E-Tech Duet D996 is, by far, the best cell phone I have ever owned. If you are finally sick of phones that are hard to use as phones, then the D996 is a refreshing cool breeze. Dual SIM cards in an unlocked package give you the ability to have 2 lines (from two carriers) in one instrument. Tri-band function for those traveling abroad is great. So many features yet without the need for a touch screen. Broadcast TV (low power), FM radio without headsets, comes with 1 GB TF card expandable to ??? via micro SD card. Best handsfree speaker phone I have ever heard. Flip phone case in an attractive style. The D996 works excellently with both T-Mobile and AT&T SIM cards simultaneously!! I was surprised at the long talk time from the Li-ion battery, well over four hours even when I used speaker phone alot. Excellet Bluetooth management. Even has an E-book reader in it that reads .txt documents. Oh, not to forget the 2.0 MP camera that is very easy to use. Several soft keys that make navigating the menus extremely easy. User interface is very user friendly and intuitive. You really don't need the included manual to set it up right out of the box. Came with 2 fully charged Li-ion batteries, USB data and charging cable, headset (earbuds with microphone) and 100-240 VAC charger. All for around $100 (Amazon and ebay). Has a 1 year warranty. MP3 and MP4 players, voice recorders...all in a reasonably sized package.

Motorola EX115 Unlocked Dual SIM Phone with 3 MP Camera, MP3 Player, Bluetooth and QWERTY Keyboard--International Version with Warranty (Silver/White) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)It is horrible. A few days after I received the FIRST phone It began to drop calls and when I attempted to make calls the calls would fail. I would have to try at least 3 times before it would go through and I was outdoors. Also my friends would try to call me and they would say my phone line never would never ring. Occasionally it would go to voice mail, or my friends would just get dead air. Also in conversation sometimes it would sound as if you were talking through the a tin can. The echo was horrible. I would not really give it 1 star. Wireless Everything was very good in trying to solve the problem I returned the first phone and they sent me another and it does the same crap so I'm searching for a reliable phone again as soon as I return this piece of ......I don't know what. Buyer beware.

dr. tech IP88 Black(With Micro 4GB) Quad Band Dual Cards with QWERTY Keyboard Black Cell Phone (Unlocked) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I will tell you this, the only reasons this phone did not get 5 stars from me are that it came with no written instructions, only a CD and reading it would have left even a true techie scratching his head. It was only laughable and of 0 help in figuring out how to use this phone. It is so similar to a blackberry though that my wife was pretty much able to figure out how to get it up and running the way I like it. Now it took us pretty much a whole afternoon to put my music onto the MP3 player and download pictures into it and through trial and error we figured everything out. The texting is so easy now and I love the radio and MP3 player. The sound is ok but so much better with headphones. It's very thin and super light, easy to text because the letters are spaced apart just enough so a person with fat fingers like me can type very easily. So if you are not able to figure things out without good instructions then do not buy this phone but if you are then you will love it when all is said and done.

LG GX500 Dual Sim Unlocked GSM Cell Phone with 3 MP Camera, Touchscreen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, MicroSD Memory Card Slot--International Version with No US Warranty (White) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This phone disappointed me. I had used iPhone/iPod touch and Droid phones and found the LG GX500's touch screen to be inferior -- it's less sensitive, sluggish, and doesn't respond as well to fingers. The included stylus works fine, but the lack of a Palm-style, built-in sheath for the stylus is a drag. Instead, LG opted for a dangling holder that looks like an eye pencil. Once the touch is registered by the phone, the response time is slow, i.e. the icon you've clicked takes too long to act, making this sequence annoyingly frequent: you tap on, for example, the phonebook icon. It doesn't respond immediately. You tap again. Your first tap takes effect -- the phonebook opens -- and the second one does, too -- you have now selected a name in the phonebook. You have to select back to "undo" the unwanted second action.
The handwriting feature is nice, but again it is too slow and way inferior to what the Palm Pilot offered a decade ago.
I never got around to trying out the cameras, the music player, or any of the pretty large selection of apps included.
I don't think it's worth the price, given superior tech available. No way is this an "iPhone killer" (which is, IMO, tiresome -- just get an iPhone if it, being so good, needs to constantly be killed!) -- for those needing a touchscreen, no phone in my experience even comes close to the feel, action, sensitivity, response and accuracy of Apple's touch technology.

Duet D888 Unlocked Phone with Dual SIM, Camera, GPRS, WAP, GMS, MicroSD Slot, and Video Player--International Version with Warranty Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)First, the User's Manual is written in incorrect English. Difficult to understand. The user would just have to set the phone up by gut-feel, and from previous working experience on electronics.
The SIM/line-selection keys (to choose which one to send SMS or make a call on) are not easily identified, nor clearly pointed out in the manual. With "trial-and-error", and some patience, the user can ultimately find out for himself. Not a very easy switching way either.
Then, the "Input Systems" for typing text messages do not include any by which one can easily shift from upper to lower case. At best, one shall have to press a key at least 17 times, to shift from upper case to lower case, and/or back.
Within a very short time (few weeks) of very light, careful use, the keypad starts to fail. Particularly in my unit, the "2-5-8-0" section, would intermittently not respond to pressing them, until it totally would not function at all.
The battery discharges very, very fast, when on TV viewing mode. The extra battery is of little practical use, unless an external battery charger is made available (even as an option), so that it can be charged, as the other battery is in use.
Ah but in fairness' sake. There is one easy thing to do with/on this phone: Give-Up on it, early enough, while the return-period is still in effect. The faults may just come in sooner, but worse, just after the warranty period is over....The reason why I took time to write this review. BEWARE!!! WARNING!!! YOU'VE BEEN TOLD!!!

Maxwest WT8000 3.2" Touchscreen Unlocked Quad-Band GSM Dual-SIM Bluetooth Camera Smartphone w/FM & TV Tuner (Black) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Although the phone is pretty good in component quality, built and functionality, it is not - by any means- an android phone. Regardless of what you see in the pictures, with the android logo on the back and "5 MP" on the camera, this phone is WAY, WAY far from that. It has a java based interface that mimics android behavior and a 1.3 MP with really bad quality photos. Even with good lightning, pictures will look granular and low color resolution (16bits). It is a good copy of a google phone, but that's it. It is almost impossible to install ANY application, even from java based standard sites. Constant error full messages while browsing. Opera mini works, but to enter a new address you have to "enter a symbol".. go figure on that.Do not try to read the "manual", it does not make any sense at all in english. UCWeb, QQ and most of the icons are in chinese, no way to customize. Keyboard is really hard to operate, you basically will need a pointer all the time. Side view of the phone is the same as vertical, only controls are displayed on the side instead of bottom. No stretch or image change. Good battery life without WIFI. Good for voice calls.

Unlocked Quad Band Touchscreen Cell Phone - Large Display Silver Edition Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The phone is a great product. Battery life is excellent. I've gone three days full without recharge with heavy useage of the FM Radio, Music and talk time and only now seeing the battery colour change from blue to green. (colour changes according to battery strength: blue = good to excellent/fully charged; green = medium level; red = time for recharge). Does not support MicroSDHC cards but if you can find an 8GB MicroSD card, you're well on your way.
The overal feel of the phone is good, nice large 3" screen to view your photos and videos. Picture quality is good as well for a 3.0 megapixel camera.
Supports dual text input (querty onscreen keyboard + manual key input like that of basic phones). There are a lot of features that I like including auto off and auto on. Supports phone lock. While it doesn't support voice or picture dial, it makes a great companion especially as it supports two sim cards meaning one can simultaneously run two different phone networks from two different providers on one phone.
Drawbacks:
1. The unavailability of software to use the com port as a dialup modem especially in areas where one may not get internet while travelling. I haven't done a comprehensive search as yet but it looks like it may be emulating one of the samsungs. Somehow it is identified on some computers as a samsung (the removeable drive part that is). If I find something, I'll be sure to update this review. That's why I stopped short of giving it a 5 star rating.
2. mp4 support is spotty. Depending on the encoder used, you might have problems playing back. So be sure to check carefully what encoder is used. It's best to stick with avi.
It does come, however, with a spare battery, microphone/headset combination headphones (could be a bit more dynamic) usb charger both for wall and pc.
Finally, bluetooth speeds are exceptional. This completely blows away my Motorola W510 in terms of bluetooth speed transfers. That alone is an added bonus. All in all, a good phone and I'm satisfied with my purchase.
