(More customer reviews)Most chargers I try to use with this phone -- EVEN MOTOROLA CHARGERS -- give an "Unauthorized Charger Error". This is a great reason to never buy a Motorola phone. This is a BIG problem with Motorola phones. Have almost no such issues with other brands.

(More customer reviews)I bought this to replace my Tmobile MDA. What I needed/wanted was a touch screen with Microsoft Excel. I update my stats for work on the touch screen very easily. I also like that I can download alot of different softwares that run on windows mobile. This allows alot of customization. The increased ram & hard drive on this was perfect for me. I had to soft reset my MDA daily. I soft reset my Touch maybe once/wk. I bought an 8gb SDHC that can hold A LOT of stuff. I have more than 40 audiobooks; 30+ mp3 songs, a lot of games, 20+ pdf files (scanned documents), and I've only used up 2.5 gb of my SD card. Battery life is very good. The Touch pairs easily with my bluetooth and I can easily talk for 4-5 hrs on the bluetooth and the phone still has 50%+ battery life. Everyone else has to plug in their cell phone. Pictures aren't the best, but it's only 2 MP and I'm used to using a 7 MP, so I really don't use the Touch's camera features. Also, you can set up your yahoo email accts and it will automatically receive all new emails every 5 mins if you want. I think it can do the same with other email accounts but I'm not 100% sure. Overall, I really like how thin and lightweight the Touch is in comparison to my MDA. Hope this helps.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this phone as soon as it was available from another online retailer. The two reviews posted here are so different, thought I might throw in my 2 cents. I have had the phone since September. During that time I have used it pretty much constantly. The media capabilities are the best of any Windows Mobile Device I have ever had, including (axim x50v, tilt, ipaq 210 and diamond 2). The device plays almost all my movies out of the box with no transcoding necessary. You have to watch your bitrates though. I have tversity setup at home and use the connected home program on the device to stream my media files over the air. Very cool feature. This also has video out so I can hook it up to any TV with RCA inputs. You will need an additional cable to accomplish this though; it is not in the box. To make the most of this device, you need to purchase the A/V cable, a 16GB Micro SD card, additional screen protectors and I would suggest a case. You don't want to mess up the beautiful amoled screen on this phone. I compared this device to my iPod touch and the colors are amazing. The 5mp camera is good enough for quick shots, but you should not assume this will replace your point and shoot. I also have found that the camera on the front of the phone is a moot point until someone develops a Skype like program that does video on the phone. I have not found one yet. I agree with the one poster who complained about Samsungs reskinning of the email program, you will hate it, it is sluggish. I have been using SPB mobile shell in place of this and will never go back. The phone is fast, easy to use, responsive, and until windows mobile 7 or whatever they are calling it comes out, I think I have found my device. Take it from a gadget junkie, this phone is fantastic. I use AT&T prepaid in Washington DC and get mostly 3g+, some 3g, and rarely does is go slower than that. Connection speeds are on par with wifi at a hotspot, meaning that you get WebPages with a little delay. Home browsing is fast.

(More customer reviews)I just upgraded my k750i to this phone, the Samsung innov8. It's a great camera phone and the pictures and videos are fantastic.
People complain the phone is a bit sluggish. It's alot faster than my Sony k750i! Web browsing via wifi is alot faster than the Iphone (i had this phone over a year doing development).
The optical mouse works great web browsing.
The phone has stereo speakers, two cameras (one in the front for video calls), and a great card reader program. The program takes a business card and enters it into your contact list. It works pretty good - just line up the biz card at the four corners of the virtual corners on the screen and it automagically snaps an image of it and does some cool ocr to get the contact info off the card.
The one thing I don't like about this phone compared to my sony is that if I have one contact that has multiple numbers, I cannot easily tell by looking at the logs which phone the caller used to call me. All I get is the name of the person and an icon (with the sony, there are three icons: mobile, home, business, and others).
The other great feature of the phone is that it uses a standard 3.5mm jack!
Update: I've been using it for over a week and it's great! The pictures and videos are excellent, but sometimes you see the videos pause (as it's trying to catch up). I used the voice recorder to record one of the iphone tech talks and it had no problems recording over an hour.
If you're using it constantly throughout the day (and I mean heavy usage), only expect a day of battery life. My normal usage is about two days... I'm using wifi and bluetooth alot.
UPDATE 12/28/08: So I've been using it for a few weeks now. There seems to be issues with the phone displaying names associated with numbers. If my dad calls, I get the phone number instead of "DAD". When people call, you sometimes cannot tell who it is because you're expecting "John Smith" instead of 4081234567. Sometimes it works, sometimes NOT. I don't recognize half the number that come up because I just don't memorize phone numbers anymore. Also, the phone will hang sometimes. I'm sure a firmware update will fix these early production innov8's.
I ran out of charge so I put my sim back into my Sony K750i. That phone is so small and it is a bit easier to navigate and it always associate names with the caller id. I kinda miss the K750i, but the innov8 is so much better in terms of browsing (esp via wifi), pictures, and videos. Voice quality is also excellent.
Other than that, I still love the innov8, but it needs a bit of polishing and refinement.
Update: Jun 10, 2010
I still have this phone. My coworker got an HTC EVO 4G w/ 8MP camera yesterday. We had a camera phone shootout and the INNOV8 pictures were clearly better. His whites were yellow. He changed a few settings and the pictures turned out pretty good. The innov8 pictures looks slight better still.
Only issue I have with the innov8 so far is the reboot issues and the fact that caller ID does not map numbers to name on occasions.
