I bought this phone through TMobile and I love it! I have had it for 2 years and I hane never run into ANYONE who had this phone. It is like having a brand new phone for along time. I would recommend this phone if you are into designer brands and the prestige you get from others when they ask about your phone.

Experience a seamless blend of rich functionality and high style with the Motorola V3i DG, designed by Dolce & Gabbana. A luxurious anodized aluminum gold finish updates the distinctive ultra-thin profile for a look that's glamorous and sophisticated. The quad-band GSM RAZR V3i DG boasts an updated and streamlined design to the original V3 as well as enhanced video capture and playback capabilities, a 1.23 megapixel camera, and a hot-swappable MicroSD memory card slot. Coordinate the phone with the coordinating, separately available special edition gold-plated Motorola Bluetooth H700 Headset.
This unlocked cell phone can be used with a GSM network service provider and it provides quad-band connectivity (850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz). It does not come with a SIM card, and it requires that you provide a SIM card for usage with your selected service provider. This phone comes with a one-year warranty from a third party provider.
Design At .55 inches thick, the RAZR V3i is virtually the same thickness as the original RAZR. And like the original RAZR, the phone's design takes the standard clamshell form factor to the next level with an impressive, fully-anodized aluminum construction. A large 176 x 220 color display with 262,000 colors dominates the inside of the top cover. The outside cover of the handset sports a supplementary 96 x 80 full-color display that can display caller ID pictures, time, call information, battery and signal strength, and more. The 1.23 megapixel camera lens is housed above this display. Up/down buttons are placed on the left side for volume control.
Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's backlit control pad, which is precision cut from a single sheet of nickel-plated copper alloy. A mini-USB port is provided, which, while useful for fast data transfer, can also be used with compatible USB stereo headsets. Note that the phone does not have a standard 2.5mm headset jack.
Calling Features The RAZR V3i's internal phone book can hold up to 1000 contacts while the phone's picture ID system allows you to assign pictures to your most common callers. The phone also supports polyphonic ringtones as well as MP3 ringers, allowing you to use portions of your favorite songs to alert you to incoming calls. For times when you want to be discreet, there's a vibrating alert. A built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear while voice activated dialing makes calling your friends, family, and associates as easy as saying their names. Speaker-independent technology allows any speaker to dial numbers with the voice dialing system. And because the RAZR V3i is Bluetooth enabled, wireless headsets can be configured with the phone for total hands-free operation.
Messaging, Internet, and Tools The RAZR V3i is a messaging and wireless Internet powerhouse. Support is built in for sending and receiving pictures, text, graphics, sound, and video via messages. When used in combination with the phone's built-in still and video camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging fun. There's also a built-in Web browser for mobile Web downloads and browsing via your carrier's GPRS-based data service. If you need e-mail on the go, the V3i comes with an e-mail client that supports IMAP, POP3, and SMTP email standards. iTap text entry, which is a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile e-mail and text messaging users.
A number of handy software tools are bundled with the RAZR V3i, including a calculator with currency converter, a calendar, and an alarm clock. The phone can also be used with Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools PC application to manage and synchronize contacts, calendar, and other data with your PC.
Imaging and Entertainment The V3i's 1.23 megapixel camera bridges the gap between phones and quality digital cameras. The digital zoom-enabled camera is also designed to capture video. Motorola RAZR V3xx Gold Phone (AT&T, Phone Only, No Service) Review

Motorola RAZR V3xx Gold Phone (ATandT, Phone Only, No Service)
Average Reviews:

I owned the original v3. It was fine but no video camera. I dropped it, got a newer version. It was even better. Now I have the V3xx. It is by far the best phone i have owned. The new 3G technology is great. The ease of use and the connectivity speed is awesome.
The only problem I have encountered. I cannot use the old batteries from my V3i. The same phone charger can be used on this phone.
I transfered pics taken from an old phone the nokia 3200, they look better on the V3xx. Memory capacity is greatly increased, the phone uses a micro sd card. Of course it is also an mp3 player. If you do not plan to use the new technolgy, just stick to your old phone. This is a great addition to the ATT family of products. And no I do not work for ATT, although I should.

Pro: It looks great. The menus are not that difficult and while I received a phone with printed Spanish instructions, it also shipped with a PDF of the English manual on a disc.
Con: The accompanying software is massively buggy. Reception is very poor with this phone. It drains the battery quite quickly. Audio quality is not wonderful. For the price, this phone is not a good bargain. Good luck ever getting this phone to reliably connect to a computer. Half of the time it refuses to let you dial a number and call. Sometimes it just gives up and displays a white screen for no apparent reason. It is very prone to dropping calls. The connection monitor will drop from three bars to zero for no apparent reason.

This phone sucks. The software is slow, especially when the phone is loaded with lots of pictures. The buttons are clumsy to push, especially if you have big fingers. Ergonomically you would do better with an older model Motorola cellphone. The buttons on the side are laid out in a manner that when you handle the phone you frequently tend to change the ringer to off inadverdently. That is a real design boo boo.
The RF section is, however, pretty sensitive and stacks up well against any other phone in terms of talk distance and reception.
Don't waste your money.
