(More customer reviews)I got this a week or two ago to replace another AT&T "free phone" that broke during normal use but outside of warranty.
Pros:
I was happily surprised by the abilities of the phone for the price.
Dual-sim functionality, with the ability to switch in and out of flight mode without turning off the phone, which is cool.
All of the stuff you would expect from a basic phone: SMS, phone book, multiple alarms, customizable ringtones.
The MP3 player does support folders -- you can browse folders and add folders or individual files to your playlist. Last weekend, while travelling, I listened to maybe 12 hours of audiobook in long chunks and didn't get a low-battery warning until I was home.
Cons:
The interface is clunky, and the one I have only seems to have T9 input in Spanish and Portuguese, but not in English.
FM radio is almost never in stereo mode, even on a high open spot in an urban area.
the USB port is only for charging and headphones (comes with one headset with no option to plug in your own headphones -- I'll have to cut the wires and hook up a headphone jack manually) and cannot be used to move files on the SD card. For SD access you have to take out the battery, take out the SD card, plug it into your computer with an adapter, and then put it back when you're done. Plus, be aware that this is a mini-SD slot, not M2, which is the card I had when I bought the phone. Doh.
The charger died inexplicably, but it's a standard mini-USB connector so I can still charge from my laptop or another charger I had lying around.
So, a sizeable set of cons but no dealbreakers for me. I expect to hang with this phone for a while yet since it serves my purposes well -- music, SMS, phone, and alarm in a compact, light package.
