Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This phone absolutely, positively sucks. The camera doesn't work well, the memory is very low and think about it, it doesn't look that cool anyway. If you're getting a plan consider getting something that you know you'll like, but make sure you get a good deal on it. One more thing, there's a problem with the reminder because the icon doesn't go away and the buttons suck for texting.

The Kyocera K323 keeps you in the loop with your favorite features--like a built-in Web browser, an easy to use digital camera, and Bluetooth wireless technology to stay connected without feeling tied down. With a sleek internal antenna and a small clamshell design, this phone easily fits right in the palm of your hand. All this adds up to one easy-to-use phone, and a perfect complement to Verizon Wireless service.
Design Flip open the K323 to reveal its clear and bright 128 x 160 full-color screen. A supplementary display on the front cover of the device can display call information, time of day, battery and signal strength, and more. The phone's VGA camera is housed just above the external display. A handy 5-way navigation key on the button pad provides access to most of the phones menus and functions. Keys on the left side control call volume, while the phone's internal antenna is conveniently tucked away. Lastly, a charging port is placed on the lower edge of the unit.
Calling Features The K323 boasts powerful calling functions. The included voice dialing feature makes it easy to call contacts by simply saying their names. No prior voice training is required. The K323 can store up to 500 contacts for quick and easy management of phone numbers and email addresses, while the phone's picture ID system allows you to assign pictures to your most common callers. The phone comes with built-in polyphonic ringtones, while more ringtones can be downloaded from Verizon's Get It Now service. Specific ringtones can be assigned to your most common callers, too. When keeping a low profile is a must, use the K323's vibrating alert for discreet management of incoming calls. The K323's GPS location technology can pinpoint your exact location when you dial 911. Lastly, use the speakerphone, or the phone's Bluetooth capability and connect with a wireless headset to talk handsfree.
Messaging, Internet, and Tools The phone's support for multimedia messaging means that text, photos, video, and audio can be sent with ease (Verizon messaging charges apply). When used in combination with the K323's built-in camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging fun. There's also a built-in web browser for downloads and mobile web browsing. Verizon's optional Mobile Web 2.0 package allows you to read and send emails, exchange instant messages, and view your favorite Web content on your phone. You can check your email, trade stocks online, compare prices while shopping, access flight information, get movie listings, and find directions to the theater. T9 text entry, which is a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.
A number of handy software tools are bundled with the K323 including a to-do list, a calculator, a calendar, a notepad, a voice memo recorder, a stopwatch, and an alarm clock. And if needed, the K323 can act as a modem connection for fast email downloads or Web browsing from your PC.
If desired, the onboard GPS feature can do more than give your current location to emergency personnel. The K323 is fully compatible with Verizon's VZ Navigator service, a feature that provides all the bells and whistles of an advanced navigation system on your mobile phone at a fraction of the price of other GPS devices and systems. The VZ Navigator service provides heads-up, voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions (with auto-rerouting if you miss a turn), local search of nearly fourteen million points of interest (POIs) in the United States, and detailed color maps that can be quickly panned and zoomed. With VZ Navigator, you'll know where you are, know what's around you, and know how to get there fast (additional Verizon charges apply).
Imaging and Entertainment The K323's VGA camera features a flash, digital zoom, a self-timer, night-mode functions, and brightness and white balance controls. Meanwhile, use the phone's gaming ability to turn down time into fun time. Use the built-in Web browser to download more games, ringtones, and wallpaper (additional Verizon charges apply).
Vital Statistics The Kyocera K323 weighs 3.40 ounces and measures 3.54 x 1.81 x 0.92 inches. Its lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 3.50 hours of digital talk time, and up to 165 hours of digital standby time. It runs on the 850/1900 MHz CDMA frequencies. The phone comes with a one year limited warranty.
