The main reason I bought this phone is for my family in Africa. This is a QUAD BAND phone so it can be used all over the world. The call quality was great. However, call quality usually depends on the type of wireless service you have.
The build quality felt solid. I can drop the phone and it will not break easily.
If you are looking for a cheap world phone then this is it.
Keep in mind this is not a smartphone. It is a dumb phone so you cannot use android or iphone applications.
For $120 dollars you should be able to find a Tmobile comet (Huawei U8150 IDEOS) [...] It has the android operating sytem so you can use mobile apps. Also, it is similar to the size of this phone. Either way both are good choices.
