It is not a "smart phone" which may be DUMB to have, with the extra cost associated with them. The LG X8300 is an exceptional phone, camera, data and information storage device. Anyone who had problems with a "broken" phone has not had the use of the phone to make an informed evaluation. Note: The BEST CELL PHONE ever made was the Motorola StarTech ST7868W. Many of those CELL PHONES are still in operations. They do not have bluetooth, cameras, video or music players they are only phones, but they are the most reliable cell phones ever made. Next to that I would add the LG VX8300. So if you are looking for a VERY GOOD CELL PHONE that does not make coffee or bake bread or entertain you when your are bored, look at the LG VX8300. It will work in a subway station far below ground or when driving across country at 70 miles per hour without dropping your call. This is an excellent everyday or "back up" cell phone. I admit that there are newer "cell" phones that do more things, but there are no cell phones that does things better then the LG VX8300.
