(More customer reviews)Folks, this is a DUAL-BAND phone. The bands are 850/1900 and that means it works in US/Canada and most of the Americas. For the price, it is a very dependable phone without many features (no wifi, bluetooth, etc.) Yes, it does come with a charger.
If you want a GSM phone to work around the world, you need a QUAD-BAND phone. Amazon has plenty of them but they cost more. Here's a Samsung quad-band unlocked phone for $50:
