(More customer reviews)I have owned HTC P3600 since March of 2007 and I am yet to have a complaint out of the ordinary. The PDA functions are perfect and merge seamlessly with the phone functions. I briefly used my P3600 on the AT&T network. I now use it on T-Mobile network. Calling is great and the voice at the other end is very clear, no funny noises. Although there is no sliding keyboard, the on-screen number pad is very intuitive, the voice dialing is superb. And there is also speed dialing. The picture quality from the camera is alright at only 2MP with 3 resolutions. It records video as well. And the Media player is not the best in sound but very good, with album display as well.
The PDA fuctions are unmarched; the calendar, tasks, notes, reminders and all that makes a good PDA is embeded in this PC. I have downloaded and used a bunch of third-party applications and they all work perfectly well. The only negative here is the the RAM size, and the limitation of external memory card to only 2GB. I upgraded my firmware from the HTC website, which comes with free Tom Tom Navigator/GPS. I have made few trips with the GPS and it works like a charm.
The Microsoft Office; pocket word, excel, power point and the other tools work as they are supposed to. The pocket IE is very good in the way most websites are displayed. I have performed a few resets, but that is not uncommon to PDAs.
I can go on and on but the bottom line is, this is a very good piece of gadget from HTC with a PDA, phone and GPS in one body and if a sliding keyboard is not your primary concern, then invest in this.
