(More customer reviews)I have had this phone for a little over a year now. I absolutely love it. The camera has great quality. If only it had a flash. This is a very customizable phone. I probably have over 50 themes on it and even more games. One of my favorite features about this phone is that you can control other bluetooth devices with it. You can use it for presentations or hook up your computer your home theater and use it to control iTunes. There is just one thing that i wish this phone had that it doesn't, and thats EDGE. If your with t-mobile and want to use the internet this isn't the phone for you. Other than that it is a GREAT phone.

One of the smallest and lightest 3G phones available anywhere in the world, the Sony Ericsson K610i packs serious cutting-edge hardware in an elegant and attractive candybar formfactor. With powerful features including a discreet 2.0-megapixel digital camera and an always-on 3G capable high-speed Internet connection, the K610i is an ideal companion for both business and leisure applications. DesignThe K610i follows a long tradition of beautifully designed and crafted phones from Sony Ericsson. The same candy-bar style that graces other high-end Sony Ericsson phones is here, as is the horizontally-oriented 2.0-megapixel camera unit on the back of the phone, allowing you to hold the phone just as you would a camera when you're taking pictures. The K610i's large and brilliant screen sports a whopping 176x220 pixel resolution with support for over 262,000 colors. Quick access buttons below the screen make it easy to control the phone's most important features, while a five-way center button controls most of the phone's menus and features. The five-way can be used as a scroll key for the on-board Web browser, making the K610i an ideal phone for easy one-handed Web browsing. Adding to that, the phone's intuitive user interface and easy to use keypad lets you access the most commonly used functions in one or two steps, and you can even talk and surf at the same time. Adding an additional layer of personal communication, a secondary VGA video camera is embedded just above the phone's display, allowing you to place video calls if so desired. The phone supports USB mass storage so you can simply plug the phone into your computer and drag and drop music files into the phone's memory using the included Disc2Phone PC application. Moving your photos from the camera to your PC is easy, too, thanks to the built-in high-speed USB connection. The K610i contains 16 MB of embedded memory and a Memory Stick Micro slot is provided, giving you the large storage capacity needed for photos, music, and useful applications.
Calling FeaturesThe K610i's phone book can hold all your important contacts with multiple entries per contact. A call list remembers your most recent missed, received, and dialed calls, and the phone's voice activated dialing makes calling your contacts as easy as saying their names. Meanwhile, a built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear. Polyphonic ringtones are included and you can also use MP3 and AAC music files as ringtones. A cool application called Music DJ even lets you mix your own ringtones. Picture caller ID lets you assign a photo to specific callers. Similarly, a ringer ID lets you assign ringtones to callers. For those times you want to keep things discreet, there's a vibrate ringer mode. And because the K610i is Bluetooth-enabled, you can use a variety of headsets and handsfree kits for total wireless freedom when you're on the go. The phone even supports stereo Bluetooth headsets.
Messaging, Internet, and ToolsIf you're looking for a mobile productivity partner, the K610i has you covered. Support is built in for sending and receiving pictures, text, graphics, and sound via MMS messages. When used in combination with the phone's built-in still and video cameras, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging possibilities. The phone also ships with a built-in email client with support for POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP protocols, while the included Access NetFront Web Browser allows you to surf full HTML web sites. And because the phone supports direct push email, you can rest assured that those important emails have been sent successfully. Above and beyond that, with the always on 3G Internet connection capability, you can be confident that you'll always have direct access to incoming email and RSS feeds. T9 text entry, a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users. And don't forget the video calling capabilities. As previously mentioned, the K610i comes packed with the ability to receive and place video calls, a great way to add an added layer of personality to your phone calls and see who you're talking to in realtime video.
Getting on the Internet is easy with the K610i, as it supports the GPRS protocol, the high-speed EDGE data protocol, and of course, 3G UMTS connectivity (3G availability and charges are contingent on your mobile service provider). When used with your carrier data plan and the phone's Bluetooth or USB data capability, the phone can be used as a wireless modem for laptops and PDAs for a blazing fast Internet connection.
A number of handy software tools are bundled with the K610i, including a voice memo recorder, a to-do list, a calculator, a calendar, and an alarm clock. The phone also supports the SyncML PC synchronization standard, which lets you synchronize your PC-based calendar, contacts, notes, and tasks with your K610i.
Imaging and Entertainment Blurring the lines between high-end digital cameras and cell phones, the built-in 2.0-megapixel camera sports a 2.5x digital zoom and advanced editing features ideal for catching and sharing smiles on the fly. Use your shots to keep in touch. Send a picture message, or upload to your blog for all to see. The phone's camera also supports video capture and playback. This handset also sports a flight mode feature, which allows the user to safely use the non-wireless functions of a phone (such as music, games, or organizer functions) on an airplane during flight.
