(More customer reviews)First of all, often times when I am text messaging or Instant Messaging on my Sidekick, people who are near me say, "Is that a Sidekick 3?", as if they are impressed with the fact that I possess one. This is a very popular phone: One of the most popular to ever hit the market. Why? Perhaps because a plethora of celebrities own one. Or maybe because this phone is cosmetically very cute. Who really knows, but one thing is for certain, it's a very addictive gadget, and chances are, if you purchase one, you will use it frequently.
I am very pleased with my Sidekick 3. For all of the distinctive features it has, the battery life isn't bad at all. The internet loads pretty rapidly. One could easily make use of the Instant Messaging feature (You can sign on from AOL, MSN or Yahoo, or all three simultaneously!) Photos come out nicely, especially keeping in mind that it is a cell phone, not a camera. One of the things I appreciate most, though, is the wonderful QWERTY keyboard! Take it from someone who used to text most of the day using the keypads on cell phones, the QWERTY keyboard makes typing and texting a breeze. This phone also has a lot of room to store phone numbers, and also gives you the option of putting in nicknames, last names, and every telephone number one person can be reached from! The SK3 is pretty fool proof. Usually, one can figure the phone out without the use of the manual.
It's a known fact, every rose has it's thorn, and the Sidekick 3 is no exception. Fortunately, the negative issues I have with this phone are trivial. I am terrible with mathematics, and I was disappointed to see that the Sidekick 3 did not come equipped with a calculator. Also, T-Mobile is the only cell phone service that sells the Sidekick 3, and sometimes I don't receive messages until days after they were sent. Occasionally, the phone will freeze up, but, it's alright because it's infrequent.
I really enjoy this phone and recommend it to anyone who loves to text, because that's more so what it was created for. Invest in one!
