(More customer reviews)This phone is a dissapointment. The camera and video work poorly; it is not a happy marriage of phone and digital camera:
-- Flash photos are poor, despite the advanced flash;
-- Shutter lag time is long and worse, unpredictable (you basically can't capture the moment you want);
-- It is not possible to record directly to the SD chip. I checked with Samsung directly on this as I couldn't believe there wouldn't be an option to record direct to chip -- they said one records to the phone memory and transfers to the chip. So, you have an inconvenient two-step process and your video time is limited by the very small phone memory;
-- It is heavy and thick, a price worth paying if the photo and video aspects lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, that's not the case.
Bottom line: The Samsung G800 was a shotgun wedding of phone and camera. I do not recommend this device.
