(More customer reviews)I love the Galaxy Tab. The 7" form factor is perfect for being on the go as I can still type on the tab without having an external keyboard. Larger tablets become less portable by forcing you to use an external keyboard for any serious typing. The model I received is a GT-P1000N. I'm not sure what country it is originally from but I will mention that there are some quirks for US users:
1) You cannot register it as a US user with samsung as it's not associated with a US carrier (no free media credit)
2) Any external keyboard will appear to use the wrong symbols (# is british and some other keys are swapped) due to the OS loaded onto the tab by default.
Overall, the Tab is great. It allows for the openness of Android in a great size for reading articles, surfing the web, working with email, watching movies, and playing games. I use it as my phone when traveling abroad as I can drop in a data SIM from a local carrier and use Skype for calls.
