(More customer reviews)I've had 4 different handsets of this model. I got it because of it's mp3 player which is it's best feature in my eyes. Unfortunately 3 out of the four of these have all done the same thing after about a year of use (and the 4th one had a cracked screen so it didn't make it that far to find out if it did either). After a while when you are sending text messages, the screen just fades to white and the whole phone shuts off. That happening a few times then leads to the problem of the internal screen not flipping to right side up after the phone is opened. On this 4th model I've now been looking at the word NEXTEL upside down for the past 4 days and after witnessing this before I don't expect it to correct itself anytime soon. Nothing corrects it. I could turn the phone on and off for the rest of my life and it will not flip the screen right side up. It makes playing Tetris on it very interesting tho. But I got really good use out of the mp3 player which was the real reason I bought it. It was loud enough with the outside speakers and worked great with headphones too. Also the button on the side that flips the phone open by itself is a pretty hot little feature too.
All and all I would say only buy this phone if you planned on buying another one in about a year cuz it won't last much longer then that... if you're lucky.
