(More customer reviews)problem with today's cellphone especially for international traveler;
1. locked to one carrier. you can't even use the phone in U.S. with other carriers.
2. not quad band. not usable in most foreign countries especially when you visit multiple countries in one trip.
3. heavy. most handset device weighs more than a quarter pound, not including power cord and accessories. with airlines fees on bags, heavy handset is not an option. most importantly it is a drag to travel with heavy load.
Kyocera E2500 cellphone is a rare and unique solution to these problems;
1. light weight, 2.4 oz including battery. half the weight of most phones.
2. unlocked Quad Band phone good for world traveler. just plug in the SIM card.
3. cheap. less than $60. phones cost more than $100 do not make sense.
4. great functional set up. one click in the country menu to select the country, phone will adjust to the correct date/time.
5. simple functionality and keys. phone is designed for simple voice call. no complication as how to set up for shiatsu massage.
