(More customer reviews)I purchased this phone for my son who was going to Portugal and Spain for the summer. I did not have success in trying to get some minutes for U.S. use, but once he was overseas and purchased a card, it worked for him. It is a basic phone, but that is what we wanted. It turned out that text messages were expensive, so we used it only for phone calls.
